youtubedownloader - spigot

Anyone hit by this spigot search engine before?

popped up after I downloaded youtubedownloader.
I think its a trojan so I deleted it from my computer and registry and uninstalled youtubedownloader. I anyone knows any info about it I would appreciate it!

I don't use a youtube downloader, I just copy the file from the cache to my harddrive, then use an flv to mp3 converter (dvdvideosoft). were you able to get rid of it?

yeah it hasnt shown up after that. found out it kept coming back through one of my unused browsers. I use chrome and not IE. But overall Im good.

Meh I use YouTube downloader and actually it's a legitimate search engine and toolbar chockful of adware.Your warned of it when you download YouTube downloader so meh next time check everything it says especially those boxes saying allow such and such to be downloaded.Anyways your safe now and your in the clear if you want to redownload YouTube downloader.

If you want to DL videos from youtube, try some of these websites I use:

I use them instead of those toolbars.
