I don't know how to help you, never had that problem. I had friends from every "corner" of my HS. From jocks to anime freaks, to skaterrs, to cheerleaders, to goths, to... every fucking category there is.

First off I'm gonna say I get the distinct impression this is just some asshole getting a cheap laugh. However I may be mistaken. You don't have to ditch any of your current friends. Just quit being an asshole to people treat everyone with respect, and act like a sentient being, and not an ape. By the way, I have never been considered a "dork" by any of my peers. in highschool I got along with anyone of reasonable intellect... and stoners.

i think youve received enough advice for the first couple months... but let me give you a refreshing taste of realism. instead of creating ample distinctions between groups of friends, consider the species as a whole. in order for us to realize a benefit in a relation, there has to be some kind of 'profit' in it for us. its usually the similarities be they opinions, rationalities, beliefs, even ethnicities. try to establish a connection with whoever you wish to frolick amongst. if you see someone who has a shirt with a band/anime you like, bring it up and try to continue on with other relative subjects. either then that people have already said the fundemental factor; be yourself bub.
