I am also one of those who can't get going to rape-hentai. I find real violence in general to be a real turn off and I can't stand seeing a character I knowing being raped.
Yet I have a hard time relating to rape victims, and I couldn't care about strangers being raped even If I wanted to. Also, I find it unfair to view rape as harshly as most of you seem to do. It is a common strategy among mammal males, as females have to bear the burden of pregnancy, so they have to be careful and choose an alphamale, whereas the males will want as many females as possible to increase their chances. There goes the pancakes again.
That may be why rape is such a common crime, and this ordinarity may be why people hate it so much in comparison to other crimes. If you killed the rapist, you would have done something far worse then just having sex with someone against their will. Yet this is viewed as morally correct.
I think the cause for all this is the established view of rape, not the act itself. Because It is viewed as such a inhumane act, it angers people more then it should. And because it is viewed with such disgust, it makes the victims feel worse.
The victims could just be careful not to anger the rapist, then get an abortion if needed, no harm done.
While I may be going beyond the limits of my personal experience when talking about how the victims should behave, I can not imagine how it would help people who are mentally unstable due to rape to have a whole world telling them how horrible rape is. It may be comforting, but it certainly is not helping when trying to settle with the past.

like i said before,think before action. dont instantly go to beat the rapist,but think about it before action.
it's better to call police than acting by ourself.
if we instantly goes to beat the rapist,other people might do the same and that'll cause a chaos. the rapist will gets killed if the peoples overdo it.
the same case also appears in our country when mass peoples beats a pickpocket.
unfortunately,the target is wrong. so they mistakenly beat innocent people who they think as a pickpocket.
as a common people,we dont have a right to judge and act as we like.

Scare 'em of by calling people that isn't there (Yelling for help, eventhough there's no one there), just make as much noise as possible, big chances are... the rapist will make a run for it...
You'll get a rapist on the run, but at least the girl is safe...

trauma is the most common physical injury that always happen in victims mental. the victims will always feels fear.
