Legality

Looked around for a while on the internet and couldn’t find a straight answer. Even messaged Fakku directly and got this response
“ To clarify, FAKKU complies with the laws and regulations of the United States.
Beyond those parameters, we're not able to legally advise you further. It's your responsibility to understand the laws in your area and how they may impact your consumption of the content on our site. If you're unsure, you'll need to contact a legal professional for more information.”

I’m no lawyer and I don’t really understand the legality of it all.
My question to the forum:
Is Fakku manga legal in the state of Florida?

As long as the content does not involve a depiction of a child you should be okay.

If you read the terms on the website though they state
“ All models, actors, actresses and other persons that appear in any visual depiction of actual sexually explicit conduct appearing or otherwise contained in this Website were over the age of eighteen years at the time of the creation of such depictions”
Does that mean everything on this website is technically “safe”???

It looks like for Florida as long as the characters are explicitly stated to be 18 then it is "safe". Each state has different laws regarding explicit content. This site is safe to use but if you enable controversial content use discretion as most stuff in that category are a legal grey area.

It’s just weird to think on a legal website run out of the US. You can technically get in trouble for reading a manga that is legal in one state but not in another. Florida is apparently one of the more strict states.

It's more than likely you won't get in trouble for just reading it online, most cases that go to court that involve illegal content are because they have physical copies that crossed state lines. Most local police departments don't have the resources to track what everyone reads online.

You make a good point. Moral of the story, leave the controversial block on and don’t click on sketchy looking stories.
