People are dying around the world....

But yeah, Jacking off is a more pressing matter.

????

You know, you can care about more than one thing at a single time. You can be concerned that people are dying around the world or be concerned about climate change or be concerned about this British porn law...all at the same time. This thread just happens to be about the British porn law. So get off your high horse.

Maybe you should learn logic and stop fucking your high horse.

The government cares enough to put in the energy to block people from jacking off.

Yet the world is going to shit around them. Homes and education putting people in debt.
People dying in the streets.. Ect ect.

Oh, you were talking about the government. Sorry, your original post was incredibly ambiguous.

On the subject of laws. Are any of you worried about your country enforcing the u.n's (optional non-binding) guideline on sexual content of fictional minors?

I think that actually true for almost all nations currently. Only one i know it's not is the US and japan but in the us depending on the judge it could be obscene. I did find this but i can't say if it true or not.

'United Kingdom: Illegal & Criminalized under the Obscene Publications Act
Austria: Legal, except for photorealistic content.
Denmark: Legal.
Canada: Illegal & Criminalized under the C-46 Canadian Criminal Code
France: Illegal & Criminalized unless government classified as “Art” under the Regulation of Online Child Pornography Under European Union and American Law.
Germany: Illegal & Criminalized (unless it is fictional and has no relation whatsoever to real people, locations or events) under the German Code of Law Offenses against sexual self-determination.
Sweeden: Illegal, currently being revised by the supreme court.
Japan: Legal.
United States of America: Legal unless considered obscene by a judge.
Australia: Illegal & Criminalized under the Australian Child Pornography Laws.'

Not surprised. The proposal was retarded and unrealistic.

Now the real question is, what was this intended to distract us from?
Not likely to be Brexit, since that gets covered extensively.

Probably nothing. Theresa May is a massive moralist who would have banned porn completely if she could. She was probably banking on people doing what they usually do and calling anyone who watches porn a pervert while denying watching porn themselves, which would have made it look to MPs as if their constituents were all for the bill

I’m a tad concerned, I REALLY want to purchase Tales of a Harem in Another World but unsure is it breaking any UK law.

So if ya'll ever wondered where VPN's come in useful, this is literally one of the main reasons to get them. Since you're connected to some random server you ISP won't be able to see what you're accessing and you should be able to go to whatever sight you want, since they'll only see you access the VPN server. Just switch it to another country like the US and you'll be big chilling.

VPN and solved, as if this will ever work out, only people with basic/simple minds or older people will this have a effect on, everyone else can just bypass this, I am not from the UK but do you believe they will actively enforce the consumer themselves? What are they going to do persue half of the population for wanking off online? They have enough on their hands trying to solve actual crime.
