Try body-building. Surely it needs a lot effort but if you take your time, the shape won't go too fast -- the longer it takes, the longer it remains :-)

The fact that I actually do lift weights makes that comment sting all the more ;_;

Yeah, gravy is definitely not something one should eat on a regular basis (id say once a month is ok). And jesus christ, like code geass? thats insane.

If you want to gain some mass for bodybuilding using a healthy method, then drink fresh "live" beer (beer with a small amount of live yeast in it) before bed, every doy, until your mass increases. You will have to make the beer yourself though (but you can just buy a beer making kit, its easy. you dont need a pressurizing keg, because the objective isnt to make an effervescent beverage, but a dietary supplement).

To be fair, I look like one of the stronger characters on code geass. Suzaku for example. He's freakishly thin seeing as he's a cartoon, but he actually had muscle contours drawn on him. Of course, he has them because he's strong, I have them just because I'm practically void of fat.

Also not old enough to drink.

Well, what does your typical week include as far as breakfast, lunch, and dinner? Adjustments could actually be minor depending on what is usually eaten.

I know that pain, too (^^;) I have to work hard to gain and maintain my weight.

Alcohol is not necessary. You can easily replace it by sugar and fatty. Don't forget to eat proteins supplementary rations, because muscles will be / are in growing phase. The better is to set up a weight-gain program with your doctor, so you can plan your weekly diet and even a basal disease diet if needed. Of course, don't pass on consult a sport animator/teacher to get lot of advice and make sure you work the right way for your body.

The good thing in background is that give a good health and a good shape. It took me two years to gain 4kg, all of them well placed ;-)

Wish you the same luck, and don't worry : you have the time of your life so enjoy and make fun :-)

PS : If you are still under 25 years old, your body may still be in growing (more in breadth than in height) phase.

Well, I have no issues gaining weight. I am here to tell you, as an overweight (could use dropping 35-45 pounds, according to guidelines) person who eats good food, I am a lot healthier than someone of the same weight who eats a lot of junk food. (Of course, guidelines don't really take being built a lot like a linebacker into account)

Well, I'm built like a linebacker, and have played American football, but I currently do not play any sports. That would require more muscle than I have to go with my large skeleton right now. I'm working on that part though.

Err... Wouldnt that mean you are under 18 then? Or do you live somewhere that has 21 as legal drinking age?

Working on it is in itself solely still good :-)

Did you play a long period ? Had you got hurt ? Had you had a special diet as amateur sportsman ?

I just realized I don't really have a typical eating pattern. Today was one of those days where I eat everything, had an everything bagel with cream cheese and smoked salmon for breakfast, then I ate an apple, two meatball hogies (the healthy school lunch kind) and six pepperoni rolls (which are basically cocktail buns with pepperonis inside. I've been told numerous times not everyone knows what these are). Plus a bunch of milk.

Other days I'll skip breakfast to save time and eat like half a sandwich for lunch. It all really depends on if I think about eating or not.
