that's what pisses me off the most about that law. it is saying your not smart enough to make that decision. its saying you don't have the right to give consent. that's whats bullshit about that. as a kid i fought those laws. im 20 now but im still mad as hell about them. i think its a slap in the face to say you cant give consent about what to do with your body. who are they to have a say so with your sex life. that is your own business.

Well, they are saying it's not your right because you aren't smart enough. Or something like that. The point is, until you are 18(in most places) you do not belong to yourself, you belong to your parents or other legal guardian. You are not a real person and don't have rights until that age, pretty much.
There are exceptions, of course, some teenagers get emancipated from their parents before they turn 18, things like that.
But I understand and pretty much agree with you. 13-year-old's shouldn't be able to make big decisions about the world and shit, but they should be able to decide a few things about their own body.
