think of it like equivelent exhcange from FMA you can't have summin good without havin summin bad also because this in effecet i would say find the good stuff ignore the bad as much as possible

THANKS THATS WHAT I WAS THINKING EVERYBODY SHOULD JUST TAKE NOTE AND LIVE BY THAT.

I know caps lock is cruise control for cool but, your cool enough. Turn caps lock off please.

The problem with equivalent exchange is the fact that "balance" is never in order. Someone screws you over. Nothing of that magnitude will happen to them. Someone stabs you in the back and gets the promotion that was intended for you. They won't have something equally "negative" happen to them.

sorry bout that didnt know it was on i'm pretty out of it today.

I find dealing with the shit in this world (and there's an abundance of it) gives me a greater appreciation for the beauty in this world. And the beauty in this world helps me deal with the shit.

Nah, I heard talk about my new manager clipping hours from people and because of that I've been keeping my clock out sheets that tell me how much I worked a day... that way if my hours say 67.89 and its 65.5 then ill take my giddy ass down to better business borough and have her ass fired and arrested.

Things never come right away for people who do you wrong, but believe me, it'll come when they least expect it and the longer it takes the worse it'll be.

Yeah. watch those subway managers. I had that problem myself. I've been telling myself this for 2 years now. My frustration just keeps growing. along with the rage.

I love the world, as far as its natural existence goes. Regarding the world as it applies to humans, I can't say that I hate it because its still the world, but I'm just sickened by what humans have made of it. Earth is where the fuck its at. Whatever the hell "it" is, its there. Earth provides us with what we need to live, how much better can it get? There's nothing better than laying in the grass and watching the sun set. I'd say nature is the one thing that keeps me from flipping out and killing anybody I see. The fact that mankind and the society that we've established thrives at the planet's expense is one of the reasons why I have such a deep hatred for what I am. Humans are a plague and we're slowly consuming all that is pure and beautiful about the world we infest. One of the most beautiful things is when nature "gets back at man" by creating a huge fucking disaster whether its a storm, mudslide, earthquake, or whatever that kills a shit load of people or causes them some tragedy simply because they were in the way.

I put the third option because that's really how close my feelings for this world are. Personally, there are too many flaws in life and periods when I don't know why I belong. I hate the world because of that reason. I like it though, because when it's fun, its genuinely( did I spell that right?) fun.

Elegently put. Couldn't have said it better at all.

From my point of view, I hate the world. I hate how singers and actors get paid more than doctors. I I hate how the world hates everything that's not a majority. I hate how the world treats some people better than other. I hate the world yet for some reason I'm glad I live in it.

Guys, answer honestly; with your age, your life experience, your knowledge, can YOU really give an unbiased insight on whether this world is good or not? I mean you can't just pass such a judgement when most of you haven't reached half of your lives. It's not by watching the news and reiterating past events like war that you are automatically aware of what's going on. Have you acheived ultimate knowledge? Have you traveled the world? Have you lived your whole life? Can you tell me what our nature looks like through every nook and cranny? Have you really spoken to that many people on this planet? I know i've not, which is why i won't answer this question. Believe me we're much too young and small to answer a question of such gigantic proportions. Pessimists, you are being wayyyy to cynical for your own good and the optimists should be a bit more realistic. Come back at this the day of your 80th b-day:). Start worrying about yourself, not these questions, and you'll make the world a bit better.

yes,its the old "i love the world" ad.
when i watched this ad for the first time,i cried.
i don't know why,but i cried.
maybe it's my unspeakable bond with this world.

yes,it's getting more and more fucked up as days pass by.
and frankly,i don't know most of what's going on in this world.

but i do know one thing.
I LOVE THIS WORLD and (most) of its content.

do you?

Lol. After seeing this while watching MythBusters, I suddenly wanted to memorize the song! This is so awesome! I'm recently watching Discovery Channel, just waiting for that song to pop out^^

("I love busting myths" maybe they should've added this one^^)

I love the whole world! It's such a wondrous place!

Indy: I can do that easily enough, the world is what you make it, just like everything else in life it is based on your individual perspective, I however am inclined to believe the world is a good place with horrible, psychotic apes ruling it. The world itself is good the people in it, on occasion: I'll use Chuu!! as an example based on population of the assholes per non-assholes basis (basically look at the number of people who are bad posters on this because they aren't good people, not just because of youthful stupidity, compared to the number of decent posters on this site.), however are not. Were this not a good world we would not have access to everything we believe we need.

From what I understand this is a question regarding our personal opinions. Don't get me wrong your point is valid, we're merely stating our current opinions regarding the world. It's true, most of us are fairly young, and most of us don't know what human nature looks like through every nook and crannie, and yes, some of us are pessimist. However, who are you to criticise us for giving our opinion? it's not like we're condemning everyone else for the shit they pull. We're not claiming any innocence either. I love the world itself, but I don't like humans, this is based on my personal experience. If you had the experiences I've had you'd feel the same way, but you haven't, therefore your feelings differ, but don't sit there and tell me my opinion is wrong. There is no right or wrong opinion, just different opinions.

P.S Where the fizznuck is the astronauts' spaceship?!

read my first post carefully.please.

and the question is not "is this world good or bad"
but "do you love this world?"

sure, this world may be getting worse by the days,
but you know what?i still love this world.

think if there's no athmosphere in this world, for instance.
you wouldn't be able to breath.
don't take anything for granted.
even the air we breath from now is a huge reason to appreciate this world.
and to love this world.

and those who only worry about themselves is what they call "self-centered",isn't it?

but,it's up to you.
it's your opinion. :D

and yes,i'm still young and i admit that my opinion might be biased.
biased by my love of this world.

and as omnicide wrote,no right or wrong.only difference.
0
hey hey omnicide you are ALL entitled to your opinions and i respect them all. In fact it's fun to read everyones perspectives. maybe i was misunderstood but i am absolutely not saying your opinion or as matter of fact anyone elses opinion is wrong, cuz heck it's an opinion. i was just saying that maybe we shoudn't be so feisty on affirming such big declarations.

Also i wanteed this convo to keep rolling and i guess that worked:)

mnx: love the world or not is pretty much the same as having an opinion on whether the world is good or not. for me at least, but that's my opinion:)
