What are your views on homosexuality?

Now, I know this is a touchy subject, but let me get this straight; This is not a topic for which to flame others for their views, or to post something trying to provoke a response. That being said, if an admin feels asthough this is too touchy of a subject or that it gets out of control, feel free to either delete or lock this thread. Please note that I'm not trying to sway your views, I just wanted to state my opinion.

Now, it wouldn't be fair to begin a topic like this and not state one's own views, so I'll begin with my views on the matter. Having been raised in a family with little to no prejudice, (inb4 shut up, there is prejudice in everyone; I know that), I grew to believe that being attracted to the opposite sex is not wrong in the least. Let's take a look at nature, there are many times in which animals try to mate with members of the same sex, and some species, like The Bonobo, display acts of homosexuality, making a fully bisexual species. Some people may try to argue "they may do it, but we aren't them, so it doesn't matter. I realise that we aren't monkeys, but I wanted to point out that this happens in nature, too. Now, myself, I'm a straight person. But if I see a man that I find mildly attractive, I won't be afraid to say so.
tl;dr: What are your views on homosexuality? I find it okay.

Personal views: Sexuality is always a touchy topic, and I say that people should be allowed to display whatever feelings they want for whatever sex they please. Bullshit taboo is bullshit. I actually don't understand people who dislike homosexuality, and if there are some, PM me when you reply to this topic so I can see your opinions.

Honestly, I think that, if people want to love, let them. I have no problem with Gays, Lesbians, or Bisexuals, so long as they don't try to push their values on me.

I personally like gay people, but only if both girls are hot. Well, actually my older brother is gay, so if I did have some animosity towards homosexuality, it'd be contradictory to the fact that I love my brother.

I'm fine with it. Let gays marry as well. Let them be miserable. Two guys I personally can actually stand it as far as talking about stuff. I couldn't care less, the only thing I ask is that they don't hit on me seriously. I will admit though the thought of two dudes making out makes me feel a little ill, but since it doesn't affect me I don't actually care if they do or don't. I appreciate a lack of public displays of affection thought.

Don't hit on me, don't announce to the world you're gay, don't make out in front of me, and all is fine with the world. I can care less if there are gay couples because it apparently is genetic, though I'm a very deadset man & woman traditional marriage romanticist.

*ahem* when I think about it, I tend to look at it from more of an emotional standpoint. When we say that it's nature for some people to be homosexual, other people will argue that we're trying to say homosexuality is hereditary, when it's not.

In other words, it's how you feel about others and what your preferences are. But, I could be wrong.

Ah yes, I noticed this when I posted. I may have a few bisexual tendancies, like the fact that I find some men attractive. Someone asked in an IRC channel what you'd do if kissed a boy, and I honestly answered that if I found him attractive and liked his personality, I may date him or something to that effect.

i do sometimes find some men incredibly handsome(ken hirai is one of them)
to the point that i can't help to stare at their face....
or i find some men whose personality i admire i so much....
but it's not like i'll date them or kiss them etc....

Why I think gays are bad: The whole thought of what they do to each other makes me sick. The penis belongs in the woman dammit!

Problem with this topic is that you will instantly be labeled either open minded and thus good or stubborn and thus bad. People will start to hate each other, even though they may be one of the coolest people you could ever meet simply on this viewpoint alone.

It also seems that people will instantly start to attack someone if they aren't open minded. I honestly do not care whether or not if people of the same sex wants to get married or not, I will still think that it's disgusting.

Kind of odd to me since 90% of the girls I've dated are bi-sexual so I've never noticed that until you mentioned it.

On topic:
I don't mind homosexuals. Honestly, I do prefer attractive lesbians but, my general feeling towards gays is one of indifference. Though I do feel uneasy if I see them making out. Then again I dislike watching anyone making out in front of me. My feelings towards them is just indifference. As long as their not bothering me or trying to alter my lifestyle then I'm fine.
