What makes a good forum?YOUR opinion required!

Getting back on topic, there are a number of factors that make a good forum, and together, these factors can be summed up in one word: Culture.

As mentioned by others, Admins, Mods and ordinary members all play a part in creating a good forum, especially in terms of their behaviour. How a forum starts off is equally important; if flaming and spamming is left unattended, others may take cue that such actions are permitted; informing eveyone on the use of the search feature would improve efficiency, etc.

At the same time, neither must the Admins nor Mods be too quick in punishing offenders harshly, which does not appear to be the case here. However, being far too lenient can lead to negative results too.

I wouldn't say Fakku is a new hentai site, but neither is it very old. Thinking optimistically, there is still a long way ahead of us and everyone has a role to play in developing the right culture on Fakku.

that's why there's a search feature in fakku.but people always ignores that.

some peoples already do that. many videos who has been posted by previous person,gets re-posted by someone. i consider it's useless and not respecting the first one who's upload and post it first. it's my right as a member/elite to warn them.

yet,there's still some peoples do that. continuing posting the same upload many times.

4) Make sure whatever you're posting doesn't already have a thread. The forums have a search function, which you can find here, or the top of the forum index. There are no less than six threads asking about the image section all over the forum and it's driving some of us nuts.

Why is it that whenever I need an ignore feature for a forum, it's not available? So frutstrating...

you are not required to read anything posted here. should you dislike the opinions of a particular member then you can just check who it is thats posting before you read.

something ive wanted to see is a forum specific search. maybe its already there and im just blind(possible) but if not i think you should put a search for each forum. cause frankly if i go into the search and put in something i have chance of getting 30 diff unrelated threads from random and IB.

Well, for starters, the design and layout of this site doesnt hurt my eyes. And this forum has niche topics that's usually hard to talk about when crammed into other topics if talked about in random or other forums.

Its surprisingly organized, and I think this is the uh first forum I have ever talked much on.

Can't argue with that, but the feature is convenient for guys like me who have to read every post in a thread despite who's posting. Some people have diligence and can use the old fashion way, but not everyone is blessed with that characteristic. Oh well...

dunno why. nowadays,peoples always ignoring the search button. resulting in double post in a same upload.

maybe the search button should be clearly marked. so this kind of problem didnt happen again and again.

@Raze I like the idea of Democratic moderators but, the problem with doing thing democratically is that its a popularity contest. Not that I don' think my fellow FAKKUZA are incapable of handling such an election.
