A nice little suburb called Glen Ellyn just to the west of Chicago Illinois. I'm close enough to the city that I usually just say I'm from Chicago.

i hail from the great land of my room, where i work on getting new stuff for you guys

I won't say what state, but I'm from the Deep South region in the U.S. complete with kudzu, sweet tea, rednecks- the whole shebang. My accent's a little watered down from having northern-born parents, but apparently it's thick enough to give my cousins in Michigan a good laugh or two. Whatever. I get the last laugh, since I pay less for gas and know how to cook better than they do.
