However, this conclusion had no physical or statistical evidence to support it. It was interesting but going just from what's on the paper, there's no way to draw the link from the given data. However, those that decide 'big phrama' are just out to make money and are in some way evil, are quick to jump on such speculation and say, "AH HA! Vaccines give children autism! Scientists concluded this!"

Should also be mentioned that vaccines have side effects. The side effect * the chance of getting it just happens to be a lot lower then the disease effect * the chance of contracting it. I didn't take the swine flue vaccine because I didn't trust the safety procedures as it went to fast to make it and the disease effect was so minor.

Its pretty obvious your contracting it with side effects. Whilst reaction depends on person, considering your only getting an extremely weaken, diluted, and stable strand its a lot better to receive this type of immunity after minimal if even any suffering rather than the full brute.

I do not see what GOD has too do with fools who choose not too get vaccinated. It is because the medical field utilizes drugs and not natural(herbal)solutions too fix health conditions. Sure the bottle does tell you how many and what and what you cannot take with the drug however that discretion is about as well advised as telling a jukie not too touch your stash of blueberry kush and what not...Bottomline?
I have had heart conditions, infections, and a host of other conditions but did I trust medicine...No! The reason is simple really because I am(DTA)I do not trust anyone but me, myself, and I. I fought those conditions with my own freewill and survivied and now I am as health as an ox. I mean cmon the same pharmaceutical industry that charges cash money for check-ups are the same industry(willing)too give out a FREE vaccine...I think fish is on the menu because it is smelling mighty fishy up on serious discussion with the double standards and all.

I am going to admit that I only briefly browsed your original post. My post is not exclusively about anti-vaccine compaigns.
Modern medicine prides itself upon evidence-based practice. It is one of the big themes for a modern clinician. Medicine has had a poor track record when it comes to utilising evidence to support treatment. A common example cited to illustrate the power of evidence-based medicine is in the treatment of congestive heart failure (CHF). Drugs in the class known as beta-blockers were never used before since we assumed they will worsen CHF. However, studies later showed that those taking these medications have improved survival rates and thus transformed the management of CHF.
It is rather ironic that once we have decided to adopt systematic review of evidence into our field people start losing faith in doctors. Every time someone makes an outrageous claim (e.g. mercury in vaccine causes Austism) someone else organises a study to refute this. Yet, many people (not just anti-vaxxers) choose to ignore these studies and instead rely on the use of anecdotes ("Well, Mary's son had the MMR vaccine and now he has Autism").
The name Meryl Dorey for instance is well-known in the Australian medical community. She is a woman who fabricates evidence and makes unsupported claims regarding the dangers of vaccinations. Medical specialists are clearly nothing compared to a woman with no qualifications in the medical field and claims to have a brain.
While it is true that medicine has been trying to adopt "alternative" therapies we do not practice these unless there is good evidence to support their efficacy. Indeed, lifestyle interventions and dietary changes certainly play a role in PREVENTION of many diseases and also the management of certain chronic conditions (e.g. hypertension, diabetes mellitus) they must be supplemented with medications where necessary. No doctor in their right mind will tell an obese man with previous heart attack and poorly controlled hypertension to just run more.
Finally, there is also the argument that "BIG PHARMA" companies give doctors free holidays and money to prescribe medications to patients who do not need them. Well that sounds like a plan! I will be looking forward to these free holidays and money!

I think it's quite judgmental to say all anti-vaxxers are unjustified believing what they do. When you give 9 vaccines at once to a small child, it's quite a concern because it is too much for the body to handle.
I do not have the scientific knowledge to counter any arguments. But considering the current state of our government, I do not fully trust their vaccines. I do not deny the importance of certain vaccines, and how they save lives, but at the same time, the preservatives added like Mercury sound much too dangerous to be received by the body frequently. I honestly regret receiving the swine flu shot because that was such a passing thing, I don't even know what the big fuss was about!
That said, since we're on a hentai site, I might as well admit this is an odd stance for someone like me to take, since I have a needle syringe fetish :S

You are right in saying that concerns regarding vaccine safety is justified.
What is not justified is denying evidence when it is so readily available. The rate of Austism in children who have and have not received MMR for instance shows no statistically significant difference. Yet, anti-vaxxers still reject this.
Many fish have some mercury in them as well (e.g. barramundi). The important thing is whether something is present at a level significant enough to affect your health. We also have studies to show that the quantity of mercury in vaccines do not cause significant harm compared to those who have not received it.
In regards to swine flu, well in retrospect it was a "passing thing" but no one had the capacity to predict whether it will turn into a major event or not. Although having said that there is some controversy regarding whether making a huge deal out of this was justified but that is for another discussion.

There are ups and downs on both sides. Of course, the benefits and possible side affects shouldn't be taken lightly. I believe that if your own personal beliefs compromise the safety of anyone but yourself then you need to re-think what you believe. Vaccines are an important part of life. With all of the suffering to be had from the numerous diseases, why would anyone not want to be vaccinated?
Of course, with every single pro comes a con. Vaccines are, for the most part, safe but what happens when that one in one hundred side affect comes along? I think it is the fear of these side affects that subconsciously makes "anti-vaxxers" go against these modern medicines so much. That of course is just speculation.
I personally use natural medicine to treat my ADHD in unison with my Vyvanse so that I can at least eat a little rather than nothing. I know it's not a vaccine and sort of off topic but I added this because it supports my statement that both sides have pros and cons.

I can understand some of the people who take the anti-vaccine stance. In some more traditional societies vaccines are looked at as evil and unwanted, therefore the whole community will usually deny them. Other times the rare case where a person contracts the disease they were supposed to be vaccinated for can end very, very badly and have a traumatizing effect on more impressionable family members.
There are also people who, like the OP said, believe that if they pray hard enough, God will help them. While most many would mock them, that is truly what they believe and is the way that they live their lives. It seems outrageous (which I would readily say it is), but nobody has the right to tell another person how to live.
Some people out there refuse to put things into their body that aren't natural, which many would say vaccines are not.

If a doctor refuses to notify a patient of ALL the side effects of a medicine/drug they prescribed, not only will they lose their money, they are liable to lose their medical licence, and face prison time.
Fourth, if someone should overdose on a medicine, it's not the fault of the company, but more the fault of the person who took the drug past what was legally recommended. The reason drugs come with warning labels is to make sure that no one would be stupid enough to try and take three times the recommended dosage for their age/body type.
