why i've been gone

I'd like to point out here that Halloween is the best holiday in terms of how people behave, well on a large scale anyhow, you still get a few crappy people here and there. Parents go out with their kids, who are all dressed up as monsters, in order to go to complete stranger's collective houses in order to get free candy, and occasionally apples dipped in caramel and peanuts, or other things which could/could not also be awesome. Which is good the parents are spending time with their kids while managing to trust complete strangers, who could be dangerous psychopaths waiting for kids to kidnap and parents to subdue. I would classify Halloween, or all hallows eve, as the holiest of holidays, if I actually believed in that, it requires a level of benevolence basically unheard of in any other day of the year, especially towards ones kids and towards everyone else children.
