A new Parasite Eve

Lately I've been hearing about a new Parasite Eve game that is in development. I found that its going to come out on the PSP and is going to be titled The Third Birthday. I'm really looking forward to this and am hoping the gameplay from PE2 returns.

I saw this back in October,I told my friends about it and they went insane.I also hope the game lives up to the original Parasite Eve 2 controls.

PE 2 burner fight , epic ! my favorite fight with a cheap grenade launcher but using it to fee the grenades to the burner's freaking-bad-breath-and-manners-mouth = priceless

OMG!! I'm so sorry about the typo (prasite eve). I also heard that a full sequel Parasite Eve 3 is going to come out for PS3! :D

this is the new trailer. it seems Gameplay change to full action, not really much like it, but Aya brea is still fucking hawt, even hotter than ever

from what I see this person has an alex mercer kinda ability?(the ability to become the person)

Someone want to clarify this for me since I never played any parasite eve games

I heard this gonna be some kind of spin-off... dunno if it is true or not , but i kinda disappointed if it really is ..

Anyway, really looking forward to this game .....

nah what you can explain like what's the parasite eve series is about and if anything how its related to this new one.

Well the game is nice, but i haven't got a background to the ancestral game. Could someone post a review about Parasite Eve(How it got started?)

The switching bodies is new to the series, I believe. Probably has something to do with her special mitochondria, which give her powers.



Also, she is 35 years old.

yea, been looking forward to this game too, but as an avid parasite eve and aya brea fan, I feel obliged to clear some misconceptions:

This is not a Parasite Eve 3. It is a spin-off of the series, thus, the title is called "The 3rd Birthday". It was originally planned to be released on the mobile phone but Square decided to bring it over to the PSP as well. No, no major home consoles, this is meant to be a spin-off, not a sequel of any kind.

The game is set in 2012, Aya Brea was born in November 1972, by the time the game is played, Aya Brea should already be 39 or 40 years old depending on the month.

However, the Aya in the game is 35. This only proves that the Aya Brea that is playing as the main character in this game is a clone. It is very possible that Aya Brea was cloned when she was hospitalized after the accident that killed her mother and younger sister in 1977 (35 years ago, thus, the age of the clone is 35 years old).

Either ways, yea =p the clone's mitochondria allows her to "possess" the bodies of allies and gain their abilities.

It wouldn't be the first time she was cloned, so it's likely. When did the second game take place? Maybe it's "Eve".

Parasite Eve's story revolve around Aya and Eve ...
Aya Brea : a Police officer
Parasite Eve : Once a human that possessed by a Mitochondria that have possibility to threatening all living being

As the story develop , you can saw who or what is Aya and what is the actual relation between Aya and Eve .. which is more complex than what you may think
that's the overall story for PE1 and as for PE2, it's a (kinda) sequel ..

If you have time, just play PE1 and PE2 for PSx .. it's worth to try

I don't really remember the story since i played this game when i was 10,but I really like the gameplay and the heroine .

i wish this game was for PS3 instead of PSP

lol the same could be said for dissidia and peacewalker.I reckon they fare better on console

This is nice but unfortunately, I won't be able to play it T_T
PE1 was so-so in terms of gameplay but PE2 was awesome that I finished it over 8 times excluding nightmare mode because well... it's hard.

I like that they are bringing back out some of these older series, be it a spin off or not. Brings back some good memories and a certain shower scene that my young pre-internet mind thought was damn hot. Now all we need is a new Fear Effect complete with dropping of towels to distract guards and I'll be set =P
