Well, the fact that you realized how bad Gamefaqs users are means you really aren't as bad as them. Understand though that I'm calling it like I see it. You do bitch a lot about it.

Well, I guess I do complain a fair amount so let's just leave it at that. No point in drawing this out.

As a whole I think it'll be a decent game. Will agree that the voice work just doesn't sound right to me. May be a subjective thing in my case, but just not sure if I do pick it up that I won't just go and mute the voices. Luckily it does give you some options when it comes to the audio levels so you cant actually mute that and keep the music just fine.

Still, props to Atlus just for helping getting more games that I never thought we'd see over here. Having more options isn't a bad thing to me.

Seriously Atlus... Interesting concept, cute girls (and lolis), quite good gameplay, but those 2... Ruined the game.

Yeah, that censored boxart cover totally ruins the game. I mean, does Atlus seriously expect us to be grateful about not censoring things in the actual game? Fuck them, right?

Just got this game yesterday. So far, it seems okay, but I really can't stand the English VAs at all. For me, it just doesn't work. I'll give this game more of a chance, but geez, I was hoping for a little bit better at least for the English VAs.

Terrible VAs but the gameplay looks good. Tried demo on 3DS but plan on getting it for the Vita whenever I decide to buy it.

I love me some turn based combat.

Just got persona 4 golden today, and it's a really addicting game. I think I made the right decision

I finally bought the game as well.

The girls are cute, the lolis are cute, but I also can't stand the english VA. Oh well... At least not so bad. Quite nice gameplay, not complex but also not too simple. Storyline is not bad either.

The 3D for them 3D touchy touchy event also seems good.

It's out in 2 days over here so I tried the vita demo after the 3ds one since they have different content. Damn the VAs are so cringy during the anime cutscenes. It's possibly the worst dub I've ever heard in a game. Hentai dub is godlike in comparison.

So I bought the game when it was released, preordered and everything, and I was just completely disappointed by the game. I really love atlus and skike chunsoft's games (Bearsona, 999, VLR, blazblow, Megaten), but this game...

So obvious problem is obvious, no jap VA option. I can live with it. I just hope that atlus gives us the option for P5 like they did for P4 arena. The one thing I will say is that most of the girls sound the same... not sure if its the same person being the VA for multiple or if that is just the talent of American VAs.

I think that the creators only care about how cute you think the girls are. That was the foremost thought in development and everything had to have come second. The game is average at best in my opinion.

The major problem with the games are the dungeons. They all look the same and are super repetitive. the only thing that changes from dungeon to dungeon is the skin color for the walls and floor and the difference is minor at best. The dungeons go on forever and a day and every room has like 4-5 groups of enemies in it. Killing every moster in the dungeon is completely unreasonable. The grinding is unreasonable too since you can only take one girl into a dungeon at a time and that is the only way they level. The game also tells you to take in the girl with the elements that are strong against the dungeon, but that changes every dungeon soooo yeah.

It is also super easy at the start. The girl I went for was Nariko and she is earth element and is weak against wind. I took her into a dungeon that was wind and water element (she is stronk against water), but the boss happened to be a wind monster. The girl's element determines the MC's element since they attack together, but even with that I crushed the boss. I skipped all of the monsters on some of the floors to speed things up too. That was the 2nd or 3rd dungeon. But on the fourth dungeon the difficulty takes a huge spike. Its just absolutely rediculous. This game is not good enough to warrant all the the hours it thinks I should grind for.

The other major problem is that unlike in persona games there is nothing to do outside of the dungeons other than talk to girls. The relationships are also limited by the amount of dungeons you clear. So after talking to one girl 3 times you might as well get back to the dungeon grind cuz you ain't getting anywhere without it. To be honest the conversations were fairly bad and it felt like talking to a robot (a poorly voice acted robot). The options you have to respond with are so generic that your character is basically an ass or socially inept or just robotically saying what they want want to hear. Its kind of stupid to be honest.

I'm not an offical reviewer, but if you want a good jrpg with a good story, great gameplay, and compelling characters go play persona or megaten4 or Bravely Default. Seriously guys, go buy bravely default instead of this game. It is so much better.

Wow, am I the only one that actually LIKED this game?

It is true in some aspects that certain parts of the game could have been improved, but personally I liked it. I have over 100 hours into into it already.

The voice acting that people complain about so much? The English VAs didn't seem bad to mean, most all of them seemed to fit the girls they were given to. The only one that didn't seem to match was Feene's.

Actually I've been playing this for a while, and it isn't that bad. I really like the Star Children mechanics as well as the combat. It helps that you can fastforward+auto most of the grind. I don't think I'd spend 100 hours in it though.

The only reason I have that much time is because I'm on my 2nd playthrough. My first took about... 50-ish hours? If you do the quests in the game it adds a lot of playtime.

I've also noticed that certain heroines can really help you in the 1st run through. Both Torri and Serina have AoE skills (as in, hits EVERY MOB). Torri's are Wind for the 1st special and Water for her 2nd. Serina's are Earth for the first, and Fire for the 2nd.

The only problems that those attacks have with is light and dark, since they're resistant to the 4 elements.

I picked this up for my vita the other day and it is very very lewd good. Liking Torri a lot
