DDOS attack

This weekend a group or individuals or whatever attacked both Battle.net and PSN servers.

There is an article. The people that claimed to do this are stupid to even go ahead and say there was a bomb on the president of Sony plane.

So now I ask other gamers what you think about it? Do you think the idiots that did this are right in trying to show something or are they just idiots ruining others game experiences?

To me the PSN has been good since PS4 launch. Cannot just say Sony not improving their servers cause they attacked Xbox Live as well. Just stupid and annoying...

Pretty much sums it up. I've read that these guys DDOS'ed Sony because of a PC Master Race thing. Doesn't make any sense if they DDOS'ed Battle.net.

I still cannot understand what they gain doing it and saying it. I could understand it if they were trying to find out a security breach (or something like that) to expose it and, potentially get hired / paid for doing it... or something, you know... but this? This is just stupid and annoying, for not saying other things.

Well the group claiming it said they were doing it to show that these big companies who charge for you to use their servers are not using your money to better them. To me overloading a server by sending massive amount of data shows that how? PSN is back up and Sony was suppose to have maintenance today but it was pushed back.

That's the point. Overloading a server proves, as you said, nothing at all. ONly that they are stupid.

Weird. I had no problems or lag whipping bitches on the SFxT servers.

Maybe they get erections from doing it, i don't know...

It's just teenagers doing teenage stuff, back in the day we used hang out outside a lot and did stupid stuff, i guess these days when you spend most of your time online, you gotta do stupid stuff online.
