Seamless is a nice way to describe the game. You can go from riding a bike your sparrow to popping off it to fight some enemies. It just feels nice and fluid with shoots and even melee is nice. Now a few things I would like to see fixed are; better enemies or at least more since sometimes only 3-4 and there can be 5 or so other Guardians in the area with you, a chat box cause not everyone will use their mics so would be nice to have a small one so ppl can still communicate.

Also the PvP is a little iffy and vehicles can be really BS.

Played the beta last night, agreeing with Blinkgirl the pvp is pretty clunky. I do like how you can take the gear you earn from story into multiplayer, something you could never do in a million years with Halo. The game sorta has some RPG elements from Borderlands implemented into it with the gear rarity being color coded. I like it so far, do wish the enemies could be a tad more difficult however.

Only play story missions on Hardmode starting from level 1. You will know pain.

In any case I'm really enjoying the Destiny beta, but I keep getting the distinct feeling that this is meant for PC I mean the cursor like interface and the hub world that really needs some form of social interactions besides basic emotes just screams it. Also aim assist and aim acceleration is really annoying, the option to remove it should be there at some point.

I will. Game was fun short-term, hopefully it delivers longterm.

Just picked up the LE and finished the install. Loved the beta, I think this game will be p fun in the long run. I just worry about a returning player base and the eventual ghost town status of low level play.

I'm this close to buying a PS4 for this game. I eventually decided not to until some high profile RPGs comes out.

It's on the previous generation of consoles and while pretty ugly on those platforms it still works which is enough for me and let me dodge paying money for a console that has yet to be saturated with games I want to play.

I love the game, though sort of disappointed in the customization for character. Thought they were holding some things back like color schemes, different hair styles, and more markings for full game. Otherwise it is what I expected and basically was the reason I was up to 5 in the morning....

Sadly my 5 year old PS3 isn't performing as well as I when I bought it. When there's too much shit going on at the same time on the screen, framerate is struggling.

I had that problem as well and it yellow lighted shortly after, so careful of that.

Yeah my first Ps3 broke down and I just bought the new generation of Ps3 a year and a half back, imo it's better just to wait for 2nd-3rd generation of the console to come out because there is usually something wrong with the 1st iteration farther down the line.

Oh but my PS3 is a slim, and I think it held up pretty well until now considering how often I used it in the past 5 years.

EDIT: Ah fuck it, I'm gonna get myself a new PS3. There are games out there still waiting to be released and I want to enjoy them properly. PS4 can wait.

If you have PS4 and care to play then I am blinkgirl211 btw....

Otherwise the game has been amazing so far. Exploring Old Russia can get boring, but mainly cause we saw it and got to do it all in the beta. Missions on the moon were amazing, and just saying
Spoiler:
You can go 3rd person for a bit and use a sword which was great, and only would be better if I could have hit my friend lol

I feel customization stuff isn't great, but the guns feel great and just fun to play. One thing I think they need to do is add a chatbox for either firestorm teams or one just so you can communicate with other people at the Tower. I see so many other people and no one is communicating so it almost says "you cannot make new friends here great your own to play."

Really enjoying it, although the customisation lacks a bit I'm really liking the missions, story, gameplay and everything that encompasses the game. I would have played a little more if my connection didn't crap out on a fireteam mission right at the end when we almost finished the boss fight ;-; too bad my friends won't get it, otherwise I wouldn't get off of it.

Yeah I complained a lot about the lack of control or diversity in the color palette for character creation, especially the darker colors which you can't toggle the pattern for.

I liked that segment a lot, really clever design and leaping across the room to smack someone felt amazing.

Invite a lot of trolling with that and I know the community isn't flawless because I just got off a Devil Walker run where everyone just ran at Sepik's Prime and tried to melee him. We had to restart that encounter five times.

I've only spent a bit of time in the open world, mostly just rushing straight into hard mode solo when I'm 1-2 levels below the mission to preserve the difficulty curve. It just feels like some boss fights and encounters were designed with a party of players in mind-especially the Siphon Witch boss fight and that's disheartening for people who enjoy playing solo like me.

The checkpoints in this game are really terrible, on the Moon there is a mission where you have three consecutive fights involving two boss fights and if you die to any of them you have to start from the first boss. I went all out at the second stage using up all my ammo, died then just kept dying about seven more times to the first boss because the boss was designed to wear down the player's ammunition stock when I was already swinging my gun around like a bat.

They fixed and made some things worse from the Beta. The pulse rifle is actually usable now, it used to kick so badly that you would be aiming at the sky after a trigger pull. The handcannon looks decent now a good one can three shot a Knight with all headshots. They REALLY need to put an option to toggle sticky aiming on the guns, sniping is practically impossible because the sight keeps getting dragged by the wrong target when they are in clumps. Game is pretty fun though, I haven't gotten to a high enough level to unlock subclass yet but it looks cool.

I'm liking it so far, pretty fun. Haven't run into anything frustrating yet. I'm level 9 and just got my first blue drop (helmet lvl 10) as well as my first gold chest (kitty emblem).

I'm not too upset about the lack of customization.
