Final Fantasy Dissidia

This game really is cool, with wall climbing, rail surfing, and all the flying thing from advent Children.

But I don't really like the battle system, where you must collect "power points" by normal attacking, and using them with a special move, after that you'll be very vulnerable since 0 power points results in "Break" which means the one who "Breaks" the opponent will get a large amount of "power points".

But I like the Ex attack system, since every character has a differnt way of doing it.
ex:
-Squall, Trigger limit like in ff8.
-Cloud, bash the O button to fill the limit bar.

well i guess every game has its downside... well still gotta play this

been a while since I last post...

been playing it for a while now and I can't seem to get bored... I disagree with what kaimax(peace kaimax ^__^) said about the "power points" or the brave points since the max value of brave point is 9999 and that value can be break easily by a lvl 100 character with a lvl 100 weapon or by using Odin(50% chance of breaking opponent) or Carbancle(make opponents brave points equal to your brave points) and also the battle isn't decided by the amount of brave points you have but how you reduce your opponents life to 0(using your brave points to attack opponent's life points) its only downside is that the maximum limit of HP is 9999 so if your hit by an HP attack by an opponent with a brave points of 9999 your dead plus the AI is pretty good making it really hard specially when your hunting lvl 90~100 equipments...

Some quick tips...
-always set your psp's date to your special day(if its set in monday set your psp's date to monday)

-buy all the calendar items in the pp shop + the lvl cap items in the system

-for fast lvl fight a lvl 100 AI with a difficulty of 9(its up to you but i recommend a slow character like Exdeath, you don't have to win just make sure you hit him with an HP attack)

-master the ability to dodge(not the character but the player) it'll be very handy

-summons are there to be used so use it(none auto summon are activated by pressing R+O)

@ishiroyuka: well, now I like the Brave points system since now I can really dodge and guard almost all attack. My greatest attack when I was using Squall, accumulating the brave points into 8000 without the use of summons.

for easy pickings on fights I tend to choose Frionel, his attacks are straight forward so you can easily see and dodge the attack, and my most avoid to fight character is probably Warrior of Light and some of the villains.

My strongest Character till now Lvl 51 Cloud. :D

Problem is, there are only two character from each game, the main character and the main villain. well, I don't about onion Knight who's representing FF3, but the one representing FF 6 is Tina Bradford

And the villian representing FF6 is Kefka just noticed you didn't post that there.

Frionel's attacks are good I like them too ^__^ have you tried using Butz? his really amazing and funny at the same time using all FF heroes' weapons and skills and a rowdy character to boot

My Fav character is Squall coz of his brave attacks... most can break opponent easily even thought his a bit slow next is Onion Knight coz his fast...

I'm really looking forward to this release. Yeah, it sucks that we can't use any other FF6 characters *coughSabincough* but that's the price we pay for not telling Square to make this game sooner. Oh well, I would love to see Kefka's attacks.

Hmmm, I was expecting something different. Too much of a ranged character, it seems.

Wow you're really playing this game, huh?
The leveling at low levels seems a bit slow but once you're in the 40's it becomes way faster.
I only play Cloud and Squall they're both on their 60's, I haven't played much I've been playing this for a week now.

Most of my characters are level 100, so easy with ExDeath bashing.

The characters that aren't are Exdeath (so slow), frionel (can't use him), Kuja, Zidane (never like the monkey, never will), Shantoto (what is he anyway?), Emperor and Ultimecia (even slower than Exdeath?).

I'm maining Tina/Terra (tornado + meteor = gg, even level 9 CPUs have a hard time dodging meteor, and it's possible to chain tornados against them too). Also use Butz a lot mainly because he's so verstile. I try not to use Cloud of Darkness because that's like cheating.

Just fight a lvl 100 AI with 9 difficulty coz it gives a lot of exp + make good use of the exp multiplier... my suggestion is to fight Exdeath coz his AI is so stupid and he's too slow ^__^



Tried fighting a lvl 130 jecht before? you can find him in Duel Colosseum and get your arss kicked bigtime... it took me 2 hours to observe his patterns and now he's the one getting kick in the but...

and Shantoto is not a he but a she...

Nop lol, I can imagine it though. Always have trouble beating Jecht, Tidus and Kuja (his attacks are a pain to dodge, especially in close off areas).

I don't even know what Shantoto is, it was just an unconscious decision to call 'she' a he. (As in race)

How are you people already playing this? Did you import a copy from Japan?

idk, i'm gonna wait for it this summer but i don't think my patience can hold out any longer (~.~)
