So hyped for this. At least 4 characters are confirmed by the trailer, I really hope Dizzy will be in it.

On a small note, the footsteps at the start and end of the trailer reminded me of S.S.H.'s version of Holy Orders, very cool.

Very excited to see that Daisuke picked this incredible game back up. I'm very hopeful into seeing the old roster in HD as well as new characters that they can come up with.

That trailer looked really good. I need to get into this series. What's the newest game out or where's the best place to start?

I was literally watching this listening to Sol, while imagining Kotomine Kirei's voice.

I fucking lost it at 1:02, and at 1:54 of the video. It literally gave me goosebumps and had me rolling all over my chair.

Out of my curiosity, how many of you hyped people here actually play Guilty Gear right now?

For the trailer, I like how they're showing right away that they're keeping the core, displaying Sol dustloop and all that, as if to tell people they don't have to worry, lol.

As for me, I'm just slightly upset they're throwing a trailer for a new GG in my face while I still haven't got a console update for Accent Core +Reload.

If you're looking for solid gameplay, Accent Core Plus is the best place to start, most balanced out of the series. As for the story, try getting X and X2. (though finding the former may be rather difficult).

lmao i just saw the trailer and wanted to start this topic. you beat me to the punch =P i'm excited for this game. i like it a lot better than blazblue... although i realize it's sorta similar, i just like GGX a lot more. i'm definitely gonna pick this up. speaking of which, blazblue anime announced! ...

I suck so hard at this game, but I play it anyway...that and I have a thing for Joji Nakata.

At the end, you see Millia. In her eye's reflection you can see Eddie/Zato's corpse, her 'rival' in the story and the most awe-inspiring character gameplay-wise. Seeing him show up made me very happy as he was speculated to be the most likely character to drop out due to his background story of... being dead.



Saying that it's the most balanced is a bit stretched, but who really cares. GGAC is the game that gets played.

What console is it for?

PS2, PS3, 360. For PS3/360, you have to get it through the market as a download I believe.

About. Bloody. Time. It's been like years since the last GG outing, and seeing this brought back some of the real hype in fighting games that I love. The new 3D shading designs look real fluid and sick. And they're sticking to the rock soundtracks I grew to love.

The character designs also look new and fresh, I'm digging Ky's new ponytail. Can't wait for more news from this, especially if they start to reveal new and old characters. I wonder who else went through a different design of clothes and appearance due to this game taking place years from Accent Core aside from Ky and Millia? To make for an example, if May's going to be in it (simply because I main her), I can imagine she'd be an adult by now...I don't think my body is going to be able to handle an adult version of May, she'd be either uber hawt or uber cute.
