Hyperdimension Neptunia Series

I wouldn't know entirely, since 99.9% of the time, I always have Japanese audio when I can which means, in NISA games all the time.
For sure the second game is worth playing if you really don't know which is better suited to your tastes.

While the first is "less disturbing" it has a lots of example why Mk-II is a lot better. So you've been warned.
lol Trick. I forgot to look up the full voice cast (JPN) but worth mentioning how all the characters, heroines villains you've probably heard before in anime.

Also worth mentioning for those who love getting platinum on games. The Neptunia series is by far so easy to 100%. Literally you get a trophy for selecting "New Game" and then another once the first dialog of the game starts. The toughest thing to do is get all the different endings....one of which.... is just.... ;_; you'll see....

Yeah, both games are quite difficult to find, obviously the Limited Editions even more difficult. Since the games are such a niche title NISA didn't release a vast amount of copies.

Yeah, that is true, but that's mostly based off the fact that people who played the first one, probably disliked parts of it (combat system mostly) and might have looked the other way with the second game. Not to mention the cover, does make it quite embarrassing to buy in public. Though, another reason is because the game is no available on PSN so hard copies are available. The gamestops in my area, I asked, and 2 of the 4 in my area have had the same copy sitting on the shelf since they first got it. The other 2 didn't have a copy and probably aren't getting one unless someone trades it in.

I gotta find the first one, it'd make a good present for her since she wanted to play it after she saw the trailer for it.

By America I just mean that if distance is an issue, shipping it wouldn't be a problem. I doubt we'd be able to conduct said transaction face to face, most of the people I know here on the site, don't live anywhere near me. Some in the same state, but still not all the close.

I honestly don't know. Go ask some one at gamestop what you'd get if you traded it in, and as long as I get more than that, I should be okay with it. Unless what they'd give you is jack-shit.

So I heard there will be minor changes to the battle system such as AP not being required anymore for the use of items.

I think so... I've played the demo, but since I don't know Japanese I didn't use any items.. or didn't have to use any at all. And that new battle system is pretty nice.

Lol I don't know. Not new but a new function (?). There's that bar thingy and you use that to use your special or something.
