I can't seem to get the game to work.. I think I installed it properly and everything, but whenever I try to load the game, I get this blue window with a bunch of code. Do I need to use applocale for this? I tried it with applocale but it didn't seem to work either.. :( By the way, thanks for the upload!

Also if you could provide some more information along with a screenshot that would be great. Maybe it's a problem with the installation, but to be honest you can just run the game from the SETUP folder and running the caste application in there if i remember correctly. I can't really think of a reason as to why it wouldn't be working

Edit: No luck. :/ I uninstalled it and installed it again then I hit start it and got the same blue window. I also tried downloading your re-uploaded files but after I extracted the new files, I can't even run the setup file.... I just get a message that pops up in Japanese and nothing happens. I tried running the caste.exe file from both where I installed it and just from the SETUP folder that you uploaded but both gives me the blue window saying syntax error or whatever.

Well, it doesn't look like your system supports Japanese. I know you said you tried Applocale earlier, but I'm not a fan of it, and it doesn't always work. You will have to install a Japanese language pack I think.

Like Zetsubo666 said, your system is not on japanese locale and it seems it will be necessary for you to run the game.

Then:
Click Start > Control Panel > Clock, Language and Region > Region and Language options
When you follow these steps you'll see a window with some tabs. Go to the "locale" tab and change to japanese and go to the "Administration" tab (or something similar, my OS isn't in english) and also select japanese. It will be required to restart your computer.

Doing this will make both your system and regional settings in japanese. Then try installing and running the game again.

System is set on japanese for me( always has been since xp on all my systems), but still got the same error as the other guy. I think it's because I'm on win7 64-bit edition. I also tried the usual compatibility mode and run as admin and the many combinations with it( just 3 ^_^). Still failed. Might be because of how the game is programmed.

@Zirod I'm running on win7 64-bit too, but I never had problems with installation. Maybe check your anti-virus?

I had no trouble downloading and playing with the previous files.

When you see those weird characters and that blue window it usually means that your system is not on japanese locale.

Did you confirm if your system is really in jap locale? Also, when installing the game was your system on jap locale?

My bad. I haven't explained it thoroughly. I don't get those weird gibberish on my windows, but actual japanese words. And the first thing on a mint PC that I do is set the locale to japanese ^_^, so it was in japanese locale when installed. And I also tried tweaking the other settings( I remember schooldays being hardcore about it and have to set location on japanese. Just bought the damn limited edition myself ^_^...That BOOBpad ^_^).

Hum, try to install the game in other folder and if on the installation menu you have anything besides the game to install (example: directx), install it. Also change the installation folder. If you keep getting that error then select the error message and press CTRL + C and paste it on google translate or something to know what the error message is saying. I don't know jap so I don't understand your error message.
