Anyone NOT getting it on the 3DS because it doesn't have online connectivity?

Also FoG, why does the Slide Pad make camera rotation so much faster?

Imma answer this...

Slide pad contains another stick which is used for camera rotation. It's much better than having to press the directional buttons for camera rotation.

actually, you can still connect with 3DS if you have a decent Internet Connection.
but when i see it,ever since the jap ver of Ultimate came around,Wii U's connection is better than 3DS thus not that many people are around anymore except if you just go to some cafe/gathering place to play with your 3DS.

like UC said, you can use the lower directional buttons to control the camera.
but it's not just that since you can customize the touch screen menu with an another directional button in it so you can position and enlarge it as you like so you can use it with your right thumb.
but if you use that method, your reaction time will get slower since it's annoying to use it.

so i advice to get the Slide Pad since it's not just another stick to help you to react faster with the camera, the position of that round directional stick is positioned right beside the buttons so it's much easier than the lower left and touch screen one.
you'll also get another set of L&R button for it since using slide pad increased the size of your 3DS.
and it's also have a better grip to play so you can use 3DS's "Claw" style.

oh yeah,if you're able to get the 3DS XL and the game shop also have the Slide Pad for XL use,you might want to pick that one than the regular one if you prefer for the obvious reason.lol.

maybe if i have to say.....
-3DS with Slide Pad are recommended to anyone who always plays with their friend nearby and always plays in group.
-Wii U recommended to anyone who wants to play with other people via online just like in Monhan Tri.
-got both of em? man you're rich and you have the advantage of both.

I'd rather Wii U since online is more fun. 1st hand experience with Tri so I know how it feels.

@ FOG: I can see why you recommended the slide pad. I'll buy it next time. For now I'll be using the L button to make up for it.

Anyone know how to get the neko partners?

edit:

Looks like capom is sticking with the 3DS for MH since MH 4 is only on the 3DS atm.
But MH 4 would look so much better on the PS vita.

Single player mode main story quest
no Neko partners just 2 Shakalaka Kids one ChaCha the other Kambiya
They dance for you and give you buffs you give them mask and they have a certain rage skill though i haven't gotten far enough to get either so i don't know when you get Kambiya

told ya.

and for getting ChaCha and Kayamba(no felynes in Tri),you'll automatically get them in the Village quests.
ChaCha is from rescuing him from the jaggis while Kayamba is at where you'll face your first doboruberuku.
(that fucking bull that looks like a living hill with a hammer for it's tail).

i agree but i did tried played Monhan Freedom unite on my vita and to reach to the start button was pretty slow since it's not as closed as we used to for PSP and the button's pretty small for it's size.
unless they did something with the touch screen then it'll be much better and helpful during the hunt.

EDIT a parody well done.
