NEKOPARA

I tried this game as well after hearing about it. Definitely a heartwarming story of companionship, family, and love with likeable expressive characters. Fans of cute catgirls doing cat stuff certainly can't go wrong with this one. Art and colors were quite good I thought and the music was decently good too. A major plus I personally enjoyed was the games EMOTE system that brought the two heroines to life in a way that was quite enjoyable and made them seem much more alive. Three sex scenes in this story, all pretty vanilla stuff in it. Both heroines participate in all three scenes though who gets the focus of the scene differs each time. If I had to point out a fault, it would have to be that it's a pretty short story. There are also some mild pace issues as well. Still all and all it was a highly enjoyable and very cute story I will likely play again. I'd give it a score of 4.5 out of 5.

Nekopara is enjoyable yet the lack of choices just makes it a bit more boring and shorter than Wanko. Nekopara is enjoyable and I still have high hopes for it in the future.

Vol 0 was released today. This is a fandisk that serves as a prequel to the story in Vol 1. This story is about Shigure and the Minadzuki Catgirls. While the original mainly was just about Chocola and Vanilla, all six of them have equal screen time this go around. This one is a comedic slice of life story that revolves around a single day in the Minadzuki household and the various antics that Shigure and the catgirls get up to. It's an all ages story with no eros, with the sole exception of a lightly censored bathtime service scene. It was fun to revisit the familiar characters and their personalities while getting to know the other four catgirls more since they had more minor roles last time. It's a fairly short story, 1-2 hours tops, but for a mere 2.99$ I'd say it's a reasonable price. Volume 2 is said to be coming out this Winter, most likely in December. Like Vol 1 before it, Volume 2 is reported to have an adult version and an all ages version which will likely be on steam. If you're looking to have an hour or so of fun with some cute catgirls doing cat stuff and watching Shigure's hardcore brocon...*cough* I mean wholesome little sister love, you won't regret picking this up.
