In the 3DS home screen, there's an orange smiley near the top that shows your own friend code plus your entire friends' list. To add friends, you need to add someone else's friend code onto your list, while they also add yours to their lists. That's basically the gist regarding adding friends in general. Each games treat multiplayer slightly differently, of course.

I can breed you a Timid HA Froakie with perfect stats (31/x/31/31/31/31) easily. I also can breed you a perfect Speed Boost Torchic if you want but I need to check if I have any breeding rejects left because breeding starters from scratch is a complete pain in the ass.

Basic question, my Torchic is Blaze (obviously). Is it possible for me to somehow change it to Speed Boost later on or is my EV training at this point totally pointless? Well not exactly since I can still use it for mechanics test, but the final team will surely contain a Speed Boost Blaziken rather than Blaze, so yup.

As for your question, unfortunately no. There's an item called an ability capsule that was introduced this gen that kinda does that, but it doesn't let you change to a hidden ability.

I have boxes and boxes of perfect Pokemon that I bred myself simply for fun considering I don't even battle that often. Either way, the things I usually ask in return are only breeding rejects and males with egg moves so I never tend to ask for rare or good pokemon anyways. I

Just got AS two days ago. Been blitzing through it, I'm at Lillycove at the moment. Haven't been this much into playing Pokemon since Heart Gold came out. Loving it.

I may get Alpha Sapphire with a 2DS, It's been at least 4 years since ive played a pokémon game and i'm in the mood to play again.

Just cleared the 3rd Gym today, I got super lost in that "city". It's so odd that they changed it to a mall of all things. Though I can't tell you how much of a factor Poke Bank has played for me, it helped me clean house in the Electric gym with a Primape and a Hariyama.

Still need to beat this game. I've been wandering around after the 8th gym leader trying to find new Pokemon to catch.

After that, I want to build a new competitive team. I like my X/Y team, but I feel like I can mix it up now.

Friggin Mach vs Acro. Just let people cruise everything easily smh.

According to Serebii it is possible to get both bikes, but seeing how you need to have access to Battle Resort for this, it will be only after beating the game.

Okay, my finals are over so that means I can finally start breeding without any distractions. I'll finally get on that Greninja I promised ><

Pretty much. It's why I don't bother soft resetting for most of them because it's just not worth it in the end. Also, you can only use the uber ones against friends and free battles only anyways.

Some are good thought and worth the pain. Almost every trio legendary is usable online and in tournaments. Thundurus is awesome and worth going for a perfect one if you have the patience for it.

The Elite Four were really easy to my surprise, I one-hit killed almost all of the Elite Four's pokemon. Even was really easy till his came out to play.

So is anyone willing to help me out with a competitive team? I liked my team from X/Y, but I feel like changing into a new team, especially how I'm guessing that OU's meta changed with the new Megas. I'd have to look into what I really want first before posting what I'm looking for though.
