Soul Sacrifice

Yesterday was the opening day for this game. Surprisingly, there's not a page on this despite this is the most anticipated game of the PSV.

I've only played the demo but planning on getting a hardcopy once my next paycheck comes in.

If anything, I really like the gameplay of this game. The spells and movement around are very easy and fluid. Hope this brings in the true hunting phase back in again.

(Starting to regret buying Ragnarok:Odyssey)

even though the game's been available for a long time in japan,it still won't interest me at the slightest.

The 3DS has more games than the Vita (not that hard, since the Vita only has three exclusives. Two if you exclude updated ports) and has a neat feature that records how much time you spent playing a game as well as how many times you played it. The Vita, however, has trophies and, if you pay for it, PSN+, which offers more than what you paid for. However, I recommend the 3DS due to Etrian Odyssey IV.

They both have ungodly shitty battery life, so you can't really compare them there.

After watching the gameplay for this, and the upcoming Killzone mercenary I can finally justify getting a Vita for myself.

@Thread Starter
Ragnarok Odyssey goes down the sucky road as you play it again and again.
Also, I do hope that you'll take time to make the opening post of this thread better. Something that'll invite more Fakkuza to try the game.

I tried the DEMO when it came out, boy, SS is a really good game. Everyone who has a VITA should definitely get it.

I plan on buying this game eventually. I'm still a broke bastard though so I can't afford anything. I played the Japanese demo a while ago and enjoyed it. I'm glad they're giving us a JPN voice option as DLC.... it is on the PSN, right? I know you got the voice option by pre-ordering but it's also on the PSN as paid DLC, right?

Bought the game, so far my strat is knock down boss, summon, keep it there with timesand. Rinse and repeat.

Also, I DLed the demo friday before the game came out which was tuesday. That is five days before I was able to pick up my copy. In those five days (120hours or so) I put in 30 hours in the demo. Would be more if I knew about the game earlier. Nevertheless, if youre up for some games add me, PSN: Windknight111

Well, not all the English voice acting are within What Am I Fighting For! level... And yes the Japanese audio should be a DLC.

For the Non-Japanese version Games, if you didn't pre-order the game. The Japanese Voice is available through PSN store.

Apologies for my necrobumping.

I'm conflicted on whether or not I should buy Soul Sacrifice Delta(as I understand it's essentially the enhanced version) and I fell in love with what SS I played in the demo but I'm worried about how long the game will last me. Does anyone know how long it takes to complete(do all the missions, beat the story, etc.)?

I reeeeeaally want to play this but I'm hesitant to throw my money.

Welp, I ended up with both somehow in the last year. No regrets.

@WideEyeman

It can be a 30 hours long game as much as it can be a 80+. It's a monster hunter kind of game so it's really up to the player. Beating all the missions should last you quite a while.
