Super Smash Bros. 4 for the Wii U/3DS Announced!

Nintendo has just Announced @ E3 last year or two that Super Smash Bros. for the Wii U & the 3DS is gonna be released on the 3rd or 4th Quarter of this year or next year. I've already got my 3DS & I also don't own a Wii U system so I'm good. :) Anyway,does anyone have plans on pre-ordering the game before it drops soon while they have the Wii U and/or 3DS @ home?

I wonder if this means Tales characters in the game kind of like Sonic and Snake.

I don't know. They already have Yuri & Estelle debuting in Project X Zone.

They might go with the recent series like Tales of Xillia, but if they choose to have a veteran representing them it should be someone from either Tales of the Abyss or Tales of Symphonia.

Hell, I would like someone from Tales of Phantasia or Tales of Destiny.

Well I'd honestly have to see some gameplay. For me melee was much better than Brawl because the stages interrupted a bit too much for my tastes. If that is still the case then I can't justify getting a Wii U for this game. Even if it looks perfect I 'd have to see at least two more good releases for the Wii U.

Probably the only game I will play on the Wii U unless they make another Console Fire Emblem

Haven't bought a Wii U yet, but as soon as SSB comes out It's the first thing I'm getting.

I have played smash bros, melee, and brawl. And I am stoked about the new smash bros game, but i have only have one request... you see in all the games my fave was samus. but she is the only one from metroid, personally I would like to see dark samus from echoes. The only draw back though would be that it would be a gannon character. Slow but more powerful. Ah but a metroid fan can dream eh?

Its coming out on the 3DS as well? I might pick it up.

I want Travis Touchdown to be a playable character in the Smash Bros. That would be the most hype shit to ever happened in the game.

I think I remember hearing something like this from GoNintendo.com: the 2 different versions of this game will not have direct crossplatform play.
You can share custom stages, stickers, and other things through the 2 versions. You cannot directly fight your friends while they are playing on the different version of this game.

That won't stop me from buying both versions though.

It's cool that it's coming for both platforms but I'm honestly wishing it stayed on the Wii U only, or that at the very least both versions to be really different since they have to cut back on things to reach the 3DS's limitations. Which means smaller roster and no Adventure or story mode like brawl's.

They will be making the game more fast paced(not as fast as melee though), and they're removing tripping, which is great news.

To bad Sakurai said that there will not be many third-party characters besides Megaman, but then again we'll see when they release the game or give more info about it.

Also no story mode, bummer.
