Tales of Xillia

Figure is standard 1/6th, and while it is decently detailed, I want to bitch slap the person who glued the hair on mine badly. Thankfully only noticeable if looking down from above and not from the front or sides, but still. Looks really nice next to the Jude Mathis Alter figure picked up at SD Comic Con. I am wondering why they chose such an over-sized base for it though. Its more than 3/4th of an inch high, which means i have to raise the Jude fig to level them.

Anyone bought the collector's edition with Milla's figure in it?

I did, it's a nice figure too, a lot better than i actually thought it was gonna be.

Love the game too, played it nonstop all day.

I've been wondering. In Graces, certain normal attacks were more effective against certain type of monsters than others, there was even a tree to see the combos and their names. Is that all gone in Xillia? Are normal attacks just ... normal now? I'm 8 hours into the game and I basically only use normal attacks to bring down flying creatures or send others in the air. I find myself not using the "strong" attacks either (L + attack button)

Preordered the Limited Edition(Collectors Edition too expensive. Goodbye, sexy Milla figure D:). Can't wait till it arrives on tuesday.

I have the collector's edition, though I have the figurine boxed since I don't have a place to put her. It's my first figurine actually.

As for the game, I'm 20+ hours into it and I have to say it has been pretty good so far.

There's not more than 1 strong attack.. the l1 an attack combo is just a more damaging normal attack, that's all.. there's a lilium skill bit later that as long as L1 is held down you will move/ dodge either left or right while attacking..
hold R1 to bring up the creature information, left toggle to change enemy target.. it'll show you what their weaknesses are.. whatever they are weak to I recommend you try to use that type of move

My question was more about normal attacks having special attributes or not. I'm well aware of weaknesses and strength of Artes/Monsters.

my bad for late reply :P, special attributes.. naw I don't think so. only special thing is it gives you tp back.

Very pleased with this game, I got the Collectors edition and Milla is standing next to a figure of Goku lol

26 hours in, this got me used to Vesperia controls again sort of.

I kind of miss the CC from graces though.

That wasn't an easy fight, but it wasn't long, thankfully.

Next problem for me, the damn king. :(

That and the six monsters that apparently have weapons growing out of them.

Got past Nachtigal, finally. Maybe I should try hunting one of those beasts down for the time being.

Been playing on moderate since the start, bosses are hard but very doable as long as you don't fuck up your chain link attacks whenever the bar is full. I'm saying this because I seem to forget all the link attacks whenever I have to chain them rapidly, even after 20+ hours of game play lol. Scumbag brain.

The Fell Beast are pretty easy because their levels are just around 60s and you gangbang them, so it's just a matter of grinding. The "real" secret boss is the ones after you finish the game.

But I don't know if they added more secret boss in the US release.

I've already finished my 1st playthrough with Jude, and last thing I did was trying to get the lvl 99 trophy, by going to the secret dungeon. So, I haven't finished it with Milla yet.

Ah, I figured as much. I kept telling myself, "There's no way those beasts can be as terrifying as the NPCs make them out to be."

Currently, I'm just running around opening chests and bags littered about different fields.

Haven't much luck on getting ToX on my place (sigh). Well technically, DataBlitz have ToX but it's on region 3 but the subtitles and audio is in English but I want a normal region 1 game since the region 1 DLC that I will for the game will not work for the region 3 ToX.

But I'm actually wondering if region 1 codes will work on region 3 games. can anyone here share their knowledge about this? Will really appreciate if someone will respond. Thank you for reading.

Just beat Gilland. *Story proceeds*

Looks like I'll have to pay Wiki a visit once I'm done with the main plot, so much I'm confused about.
