Playing the game again, but god damn it you secret boss, you'll never get easier...
And the fastest way to get to that Lvl 99 trophy is defeating it over and over after eating the 100% Exp food boost.

Well, there's only "one" boss that is probably the only way you can can grind to level 99.

So...
Spoiler:
I thought the game would end after defeating the old man in the spirit realm. Then suddenly *boom* new world, new map. Damn Xillia you scary.

Yeeeeeeep, that's my plan. I'm doing it so I have >6k grade for my next play through since I have like 5290 and getting everyone to 99 will get me 1200 more.

I want my second playthrough to be fun. Well, more fun.

Of all the enemies I encountered, only one type has managed to creep me out;

Gentlegnomes.

Also, obtained three of the six weapons from the Devil Beasts.

I was ready for the game to end just before we...

Spoiler:
Crossed over to the other world. I just defeated the electric spyrite.

How much of the game do I have left? Probably going to take a break from playing this.

literally the end. If I remember right. If you defeated Volt. Travel to the next place. That place is like the point of no return. THats the time to return in Reiza Maxia and complete remaining quests and other stuff. or proceed to the final dungeon.

If only the big fields didn't all look the same in this game. Poor level designing on that part.

90% towards platinum trophy :D
Just need 31 more "rare" monster kills
Then to RACE through on Jude side

End reached, after all that build up I expected a sweet warm vanilla ending...

...HA!

Ah well, good game.

Spoiler:
Though I may have expected too much from a Romance standpoint, after all, not all Tales are like Graces...
Meanwhile, Leia wants to found a family (with some complete stranger) ;-;

I finally got a R1 Limited Edition TOX in DataBlitz 2 weeks ago and it came w/ a free soundtrack, art book and DLC for Stahn and Cress's costumes from TOD and TOP but to my surprise the manual was not included. The store rep tried to open another copy but w/ the same results.

Not that I'm complaining that mine does not have the game manual, but I'm just curios if any of you also experienced this when people on this forum purchased their copy of the Limited Edition.

And also thanks to Kaimax on explaining that region 3 codes will not work on R1 games.

I loved the characters of Jude and Milla. The other character designs weren't bad either. I really enjoyed the romance between Jude and Milla since it is not often I like both the main female and male characters of a JRPG and the way they set up a romance story XD.

My main problem with the game is that lots of areas are pretty same-ish and parts of the map aren't explored at all or with enough depth to justify a lack of an "Overworld". The game had so many cinematic scenes where there could have been gameplay too imo. Particularly in the middle of the game where it felt like I was sitting through a cut scene that could have equaled more gameplay time or content instead of a summary of "Hey this happened".

That and it missed the flare and fun of tales games. The cooking system is boring, where is the wonder chef? Where is Namcobandai isle? Hotsprings? Ice town? There was a lot that could have been improved on in terms of extra content because while the main story was good I liked all the little side stuff beyond the devils arms.

It still is the best tales game in years, even if that isn't saying much compared to vesperia and graces.

But I feel that it doesn't stand up to Symphonia or Abyss which are really dang good games.
