I think that is the point of sites like this. You can have both without flaming on people about their individual tastes. I find that it is more creative and adventurous to mine the darker side of human emotions and behaviors. Give me a story about people who don't do or react the way you expect. A man lusting after his wife's sister. A woman acting out her repressed fantasies in costume. A teenager forced to choose lust or love. A teacher coaches a bullied boy to stand up to his female tormentors. Any one of these ideas could have a happy vanilla ending or a shockingly bad one.
