Ok I went through it personally and added another word count tool, and it looks like you're fine. I don't know why these tools are screwing with me. Either way, pretty good story.
Well I trimmed off about 30 words so here's hoping.
People reading mine have said its over 1500 words, but my computer tells me its 1500 exactly. Will I be disqualified in anyway if my computer is wrong?

hank you. I wanted it to be longer but I shortened it for the contest. I do plan on going back to it, making it long. More novel like. There was a lot more I wanted to do with the characters but, some stuff had to be cut out.
