Description:
Katawa Shoujo is a bishoujo-style visual novel set in the fictional Yamaku High School for disabled children, located somewhere in modern Japan. but it's only the demo version... it's not fully released (at least not in english)
it looks very promising with plot and diolouge. Especially with charecter development. If I remember right their was a handfull of members of the team most, wich I think were in colllege so maybe that presented other problems also. Also ,you probably already know, the members of the writing staff consisted of a different person for every heroine so that probably made matters even worse on the lead plot for all to agree on. I wish they could get things together to put a release date on it,even a year would be welcoming. I hope the best for them for their novel. This looks to be very promising if completed. But seriously, we don't need anymore act 1v
Problem is that they've been sitting over the SAME PROBLEM for monthsm no scratch that, YEARS, and it seem they can't seem to agree on what to do. It's been act 1 for what? 2? 3? years now... My friend left the team cuz the guys just seem to scrape and start from scratch , rinse and repeat the whole cycle again over and over, for the past two years.
Now, don't get me wrong, I love the game, the plot is so promising I'm very sure it would turn out to be one of the best eroges out there if they would JUST FINISH IT, but well yeah.
FYI, Avt 1 v4 has been out a LONG time back already, the only difference between the acts? just the translations. and a couple CGs, not much actually, there's no difference in the routes, no difference in the characters, maybe a few spell check error fixes, that's about it. I myself am waiting for this game. But my hopes of it completing.. well, I can't say I'll bring up my hopes too high...
But it's a good game. I reccommend it to players who've never tried an eroge/visual novel. For now, there are no 18+ parts, but well I guess.. HOPE it will be incorporated in the future, but over all even without it, it's got a decent story, interesting characters, and nice BGMs as well.
