Next week we will be in Los Angeles for Anime Expo! Our good friend Danny Choo, who is a special guest at the convention, has invited me to hold a dual FAKKU x Danny Choo meetup. And I am of course honored and excited to accept.
So on Saturday July 3rd from 3:30pm - 7pm we will be holding the Danny Choo x FAKKU meetup at the ESPN Zone, which is pretty much next door to the convention center. The address of the location is 1011 South Figueroa Street, Los Angeles, CA (http://ow.ly/229P2). There is also a map at the bottom of this post. You can read Danny's post about it here.
In addition to getting to meet myself and Danny Choo, we will be giving away a ton of free stuff. Hopefully some hentai manga, figures, shirts, stickers, and some other random goodies. So if you are going to Anime Expo make sure you come to the meetup!
Additionally, if you wear a FAKKU! shirt to the meetup, I will give you a free hentai manga or doujin just for coming! We will be selling shirts in the Dealer's Room all day Thursday - Sunday.
And as usual, we will have a booth in the Dealer's Room! This means you can stop by and meet me any time during the weekend and pick up some Sanshee shirts. Here is a map to our location:

Oops the date on the conventions page for Portcon was wrong. Portcon is actually this weekend, and I will be at it. |

It shouldn't be any more different from other conventions...Then again I've only been to AX, so I'm not sure.
Sounds like an awesome little event. Will try my best to be there, but since I have two younger brothers joining me I might have to lose them in the crowd and head over to the ESPN Zone. |

How do you afford all that travel...

AX seems so much bigger than any of the other conventions in the US. It seems like it'll be pretty shocking for those of us who've never been to it. I think planning ahead the day before would be advised.
And lol, don't bail on your brothers. I know how you feel since I'm in a similar situation (bringing along a bro) but dang, just the idea of losing them in a crowd is harsh -.-
BTW are you guys holding the H worth watching panel @ AX? |

Yeah, I know right! Plus hotels at each one... damn this makes me pity you, Jacob.
I'd bet there are Fakku users in each corner of the world, right? You should just do home stays instead of paying so much. :o
But I guess you get to go to a lot of cons, so pretty lucky in that way. Though I guess you have to sorta sit in one place the whole time, right? :s |

I didn't know it was the biggest. I always thought it was one of smaller ones. :/
They're old enough to take care of themselves, and they own cellphones so it's not like I'm throwing them out to see. Well, since I don't have any money to go I won't need to worry about that.
Might drop by the ESPN zone if I have the time since it's outside of AX. |
