Kimi Rito is an ero manga master in Japan, he's been studying the industry for well over 20 years. And I'm happy to say that he's become a friend of mine who has showed me a lot in Japan. Kimi Rito has decided to make this work available to FAKKU users to read and download completely for free. If you learned something, or enjoyed it, go tell him on Twitter @kimirito Enjoy!

I'm very thankful to Jacob who exhibited this my book. I wish that an ero-manga study and criticism also become popular in the United States taking this book as a start.

I think it can be prepared next year. It's necessary to add correction, so please wait a moment a little more.

I'm hoping that eventually FAKKU will publish both of tosh's ero manga. I'd like to own English versions of his books.

I was pretty shocked myself when I found out. But when I compared his works it made sense why the art style was similar.

I really hope Japan repeals the censorship on hentai (or porn in general), it is certainly not needed in any way shape or form nowadays.
It's obviously for adults, us alone to watch and fap/schlik to it, we know what it is, we know what is happening, what does it accomplish from having it censored?
Does anyone know how what's been going on on the topic so far? Cause I really want to know.

The only legal loophole to this is by having both the artists (or porn producer) and the distribution website living outside of Japan while it can view inside Japan. Japan doesn't block the Internet the same as China Great Firewall. The problem is that countries outside Japan don't have high production of high quality drawn erotic content and the legality of controversial content. I am curious about ero-comics outside of Japan which most of the artists use patreon.

At last! A good-natured and insightful study of Hentai Manga and its history. I think more people should read it, so, would it be okay to print and share it once download links are available?

This has got to be one of the neatest reads I have indulged in. I suppose the item of interest I got of this the most was that no matter what country you're from, you might face adversity for your enjoyments.

Musical revolution, fantasy roll-playing, and a vast assortment of other hobbies or forms of media have been wrung-around-the-ringer as well. I can only hope as years progress, that tactical information can be represented above scare-tactics and bias, at least in the hopes of informative interest.

It gives a tad bit of chuckles, because we're speaking about porn here, but the medium doesn't really matter.

This was...very informative. I actually really enjoyed reading this.
While I did know some of this information already from independent research, I'm glad to have some of the smaller details I didn't know explained.
I never have and probably never will understand the need for censoring, especially if the mosaics can be so minuscule it may as well not be there, but at this point it just feels like something that can't be helped anymore.

While this was incredible interesting, I've got to say that the art displayed in P.19 from Okayusan is out of this world, I pray for the day we get some of his works here on Fakku!

When I read this, I found two conclusions on this basis history:

1. Regulation and censorship ruined everything.

2. Culture barrier and social variation are the biggest issues in ero manga industry and its history as well.

Despite real-life porn is more widespread and well-known even has same critics and controversies especially western porn works never get censored or blurred like Japan did at all. I never understand what they do, just confused by themselves.

This was a very informative read. I have to say that ero manga is easily my favorite medium, and it's great being able to learn about some of the history behind it. I hope that in the future that ero manga will continue to grow in Japan and here overseas as well.
