A New BBC Hit Piece Against Anime And Manga

1
It seems that the BBC has just made a "documentary" slandering anime and manga, while they were filming it they also interviewed the director of the Girl Und Panzers but in the end that interviewed wasn't used, after the release he spoke out against the shitty hit piece that the BBC has done to attack manga, anime and hentai.

I was wondering if the CBLDF could write an article about this, big names in the anime industry must release some kind of official response to garbage like this or they will keep making it.

This isn't that new of a subject.

Now im not a person that get off on lolicon nor raping kids in general. Im not a rape in any form fan, but i don't see why it should be banned and i even disagree with her whole point of view of 'Well it's illegal in the UK' bit on the bases of how gives a fuck. Uncensored cocks and cunts are illegal in Japan. Porn is illegal in all form in some countries.... Should we ban anything that is illegal in other places also? It's illegal to eat horse here. You can eat horses damn near everywhere else... who cares. Scapegoating something because there some retards in the world who might want prepubescence vaginas and dongs to justify their morals isn't right either. Same with movies and comics. People do what people do regardless of the viewing options.

Here another piece, with the full doc on it. http://www.otakutale.com/2017/bbc-interviews-girls-und-panzers-character-designer-fiction-like-this-should-be-banned/

I already have two pieces of luggage for my trip back to japan. I will only bring enough clothes to be here... laundry mats exist. 55kg of weeb swag for the plane ride. 60$ is cheaper than 8$ a kilo for seaship sal. I reckon 45 tanks is not bad. But then again.... the family can add to the haul also. Should be able to get everything. 60kg x 4. Maybe next year.

The BBC releases a documentary with a bias against a certain topic?
Never heard of that before

The funny thing about us Brits is, we've been groomed by our media for a couple of decades now to despise paedophillia in all its forms. It's a horrible subject and traumatising for those that have been victims of child molesters, but the scapegoating, the fearmongering against the people with this psychological disorder is so extreme it's at that point where we actively demonise the subject at even the mere mention of it, and are quick to demand the person in question be hanged (despite hanging being outlawed in 1964) even if the person in question has only been accused of it. The problem is, the subject is so taboo here that we don't even talk about it or try to understand why it happens. Instead we quickly shut it down and demand the person be killed. That's just sweeping the problem under the rug and that won't make it go away. The same people also think that everyone who reads loli/shota hentai manga is a paedophile, forgetting that the characters depicted aren't real and nobody was harmed in the depiction, unlike actual CP where real children are being abused. That's why I think it's laughable that it's considered CP here. I feel she wasn't qualified to do this interview, she was a classic case.

It's also why I'm not surprised the BBC condemned the author of a show because it had seemingly underage fictional characters since it's one of the media outlets that's been spearheading the fearmongering campaign against paedophiles over the years. Despite hypocritically harbouring a few themselves. *cough*

I don't think it's an unfair hit piece really. The guy she's interviewing explains himself pretty well at 3:40 and she doesn't present any sort of counter argument, rather she just accuses him of making as assertion that he never made and then concludes by pretty much saying, "well despite your point, I don't like it so it should be banned." Honestly I think she comes off looking like she hasn't really thought about the issue very deeply and doesn't really have a leg to stand on except that she is repulsed by the very idea.

Well it's a very British idea. Because it's illegal here it must be illegal everywhere else. Thoughts and feelings that disgust you isn't a concrete law or rape porn who be illegal because i don't like it. Or horse meat should be illegal because it's here. It's a SJW cause to fight for something where their not an issue from one person or group or nation. If the Japanese people want lolicon or JK clubs banned it's their cause to do it, not someone else outside nipon. Remember these are people who only banned CP 2 years ago to be own. Japanese don't like other counties to tell them what right or wrong... whale meat is legal here... i find that more disgusting than some drawings of fictional 11 year olds fucking.
