do you still buy &/or watch/read classics of anime & manga

Sorry i gotta ask because well as for me i love both classics of anime & manga & modern anime & manga equally heck if any stores ever sells any of my favorite anime of classics or any of my favorite manga of classics i would buy it in my collection if i don't have it in my collection yet. Even though i buy my stuff both in public & online and heck if i want to or if I'm in the mood i would re watch some of my favorite anime classics & re read some of my favorite manga classics.

I had to ask and see if anyone else feels the same way as i do or am i only one anyway I'm just curios to see if i am only one who feels this way or not thanks for your honesty and thanks for your answers and if you want to you may tell me if i am or I'm not only one who feels this way when i said i love both classics of anime & manga & modern anime & manga equally thanks :).

Well with anime no, generally if the anime is older then 5 years I won't rematch it. But within that 5 year period I may have watched it several times depending on episode count.

With Manga yes, however I can't call them all classics some are old and to this day I will go back and re-read.

I am actually in the middle of re-reading Cardcaptor Sakura, and I have read One Piece from the beginning to its current location at the time more then I would like to remember.

Other manga like Fullmetal Alchemist, Bamboo Blade, The Prince of Tennis, Ruroni Kenshin, Hayate The Combate Butler, Genshikem , and many more have all been read more then 4 times since I purchased them.

While I am not sure I would consider it "classic" I have recently been delving into seasonal anime from 2005-2010 after meeting a 16 year old co-worker who is just getting into anime. Talking to her made me nostalgic for the stuff that got me into anime around 2004-2005 and so I have gone exploring into the sort-or-recent past for stuff that I overlooked back then.

Reading Osamu Tezuka manga (especially Phoenix) is fun to do, just to look back.

Also, your writting gives me a headache, shorten your sentences and stop repeating yourself over and over.

I think I do it depends on what you mean by classic I purchased Gunbuster awhile ago and barely watched it a couple weeks ago but after seeing the live action movie I was reminded of how much I loved Rurouni Kenshin so I ordered the manga and the series not that one movie though because...but im hoping that maybe theyll finally adapt the last manga arc but yeah for me if something is good it doesnt matter when it came out some other older shows ive been meaning to finish go lion, genesis climber mospeada, space runaway ideon, and tekkaman blade. I also within the past year watched macross and all the gundam shows since the original up until unicorn (excluding the igloo series) and am currently on ova 2 of macross plus so classics are a ok with me

I buy mostly manga. I do try to keep up with both new shows and watch older classics from time to time.

I bought the Blu Ray remastered release of Venus Wars, one of first anime movies I saw when I was a kid.

If they remaster older animes that I liked, I probably would buy them for the nostalgia factor alone (Robot Carnival please!).
