Not really sure cuz i started watching since i was a child. I also saw Golden Boy one day as a teenager and really liked it. But i was aware of what anime is when i started watching Naruto. and after that i started looking into anime and watching it daily :)

The first manga that got me into manga was DBZ because of my relatives and surprisingly, Naruto, because I stumbled onto it at a library, but I did start manga somewhat late in my life :(

A stupid as it sounds pokemon sort of introduced me into anime. But the first one that feel that I really enjoyed was Gundam 00.

Prince of tennis! I'm not that into shounen or sports anime but the over-the-top tennis moves really clicked with me.

Technically it would be Dragon Ball but Ill say Ruroni Kenshin is what got me into anime, and reason why I like to use the Iato katana in Dark Souls :D
