[Manga] Highschool of the Dead

Wow I've forgotten about this manga and the anime since there hasn't been any progress or new chapter lately that I thought they stop making it. Good to know that new chapters are coming..

I might re-watch some of the anime episodes as well.

Still reading until chapter 29, Stalled sometimes because Kuroki Tomoko.

I like this series. It is bittersweet and at the same time effective at making you think, and shows a humanistic perspective.

I miss reading this manga. The hiatus has gonne on for too long already..

oh so they didn't stop the print? thought the manga had an abrupt end so..

anyway, from where they are now, there's not much of a clear checkpoint. for now they gathered but it's hard to figure out what's next and when's that new girl's gonna pop-up.

when will the continue the story?

I am currently watching it on a TV/Movie provider, sadly they have only twelve episodes : /
But so-far so-good; really loving it. Its also fun explaining to my roommate why Im watching a show about schoolgirls killing zombies; He isn't a fan of anime.

On a serious note it's been well over a year since it was last updated, I'm kinda losing hope over here...

Hmm, I would like to start the manga but hearing that it isnt updating. I will probably read it anyway, I was hoping with just sticking the anime. Got alot of other mangas to read.

Any updates after chapter 29?

I really wish it would update, I've heard some rumors that It might update in the next few months. And I've read (On more legit sites) that he will likely continue it and might be working on a full color version. But the Manga Ka Is definitely known for really long breaks. It started in 2006 after all and he has gone on a year hiatus with HOTD before this one, so it's not really a shock.

Not a bad Manga/Anime. I have seen the anime first before the manga sad to say but I have been trying to read some chapters here and there but I have only made it to the 3rd chapter lol (busy). Hope I can start reading it more and more.

I've read chapter and seen every episode i still crave for them to give me more.. It was soooo addicting i felt like the utter amounts of cleavage and blood I felt like a cat hyped up on crack cocaine..

Great fucking news guys.

I think I know when it is resuming. It should be in July because I have the full color omnibus of Higschool of the Dead and it goes through the entire anime (except the shrine part because that part differs from the manga). I looked online and it said that the second omnibus would be available in July.

It seems my prediction about seeing H.O.T.D. in the bookstores may have been right about gauging the interest and sale possibilities level. This is awesome.

I'm pissing myself in anticipation.
