Teppu: 8/10 Sad that it ended so early. The only martial arts manga that I actually enjoyed from beginning to end though.

animefreak_usa Child of Samael
Evergreen 7/10.

Was good until her almost fucked his sister.

Pluto
I swear to god this author can't make proper endings. Sick and tired of his shit. Everything else was top-notch though.

Eden - It's an Endless World
Sprinkled with interesting idea but the plot is too spread out. I honestly couldn't tell you a single crucial plot point. It's really interesting though and worth the read.

Akira
Surprisingly similar to the anime in its feel but a lot of the content is different.

Crying Freeman
It's like a 80's martial arts movie.

Sand Land: 7/10
I like Toriyama when he's writing stories and drawing characters that are lighthearted- its why I've always preferred Dragonball to Z and GT. Sand Land is a bit light on its themes and content, but its well-drawn, and all the characters are inspired and easily distinguishable from each other.

Akira: 10/10
So much has been said about Akira already, so I'll keep it short: Reading Akira is like taking a trip to sci-fo heaven. Or hell. Depending on how you look at it. Unbelievable panel work by Otomo; unparalled detail on every page.

Nausicaa: 10/10
I could go on and on about how goddamn good this manga is. Hayao Miyazaki (of Studio Ghibli fame), the sole writer and artist of Nausicaa, considered himself an "abject failure" for his work, and never made long-form manga again. But there are many, many reasons why everyone seems to disagree with him. I mean, just look at the art in this manga...so breathtaking. If you've seen a few Miyazaki films, you'll recognize his style right away- just on a much, much bigger narrative scale.

BitNdragon More Than A God
Rosario Vampire 6/10
I hate to give it a low score but I feel like it dragged a bit at the end or I'd give it a 7. I started reading this since I was a fan of the anime but I swear they could not be any more different the manga is way better but also barely in the same genre lol

Hmm, the last manga that I completed would be, I think, Fujimura-kun Mates, which I gave a 7/10. I LOVED the three main girls, their personalities were absolutely awesome. It lost points with me, however because.... err, does this site even have spoiler tags? Ah, yes it does.

I disliked that Fujimura basically began the manga running from the girls, and it ended with him still running from them. He never wanted to be in a relationship, and that didn't change up to the end, and that disappointed me greatly.

Now, the last manga that I read would be Hayate the Combat Butler, which is ongoing, and my score for it bounces between a 7 and an 8. Goooooo Nagi! Though Maria is my favorite over-all character, I'm firmly aboard the S.S. Nagi.

$100 Is Too Cheap, it's a 31 page oneshot. Check it out, it's pretty good. Could easily be an episode for a good mystery anime.

Gantz.

6.5/10

Shitty ending. Closed a bunch of big holes, but there's a lot of little holes.

CronaBaka Mellow Yellow
Sora no Otoshimono 10/10

Absolutely wonderful.

Boku Dake Ga Inai Machi - 7.5/10

Sometimes it loses itself in pages upon pages of questions, something I've never liked, but otherwise a good read.

Kayo is so adorable and huggable.

Likhos01 Monster Girl Lover
Gurren Lagann (manga version): One of the best transition from animation to manga form, it's still not to the level of the original but has it's own ending (which is close to the movie's).

Zelphy: Canned and as such it had a rushed ending. Too bad, I liked it. It's by the author of Ubel Blatt (who is almost as loved as he is hated for some reason) and was badly marketed as a Space Opera (when it's in fact closer to Guardian of the Galaxy in term of tone). The fact it got it's ass exploded because it was not similar enough to Ubel Blatt enrages me to no end.

Poison City: A must read. A manga about abusive censorship and a statement about why we shouldn't trust the likes of Jack Thompson or Fredric Wertham. The volume both ends with a Paragraph about the author's fight against censorship after one of his series (Manhole) got flagged by the district of Nagasaki.

The World God Only Knows
Ayumi is love.

Ayumi is life.
It's was pretty good, I like the cute girls.

Kaiji S3
A little slow and too much like dumb-down version of Akagi.

Kaiji S4
Nothing really happens during this season.

Tasogare Otome x Amnesia
Cute girls.

Lone Wolf & Cub
Every chapter was great and it just got better and better, the closer it reached the end.

PorygonPowah Genuine Lumberjack
Cafe Alpha and Aria, 10 out of fucking 10
Both are pretty similar. Laid back slice of live stories without conflict. I feel like both of these changed the way I see myself as a person. They both helped me relax as a person, and I can honestly say I've enjoyed my life more since I've read them. Both have gorgeous scenery porn.

Cafe Alpha in a bit more detail
It's got to be the most laid back apocalyptic story I've ever. It's just about a robot watching humanity, which is tired of fighting, just slowly letting itself fall into decline. There's no conflict of drama, just people living their lives as the world slowly goes into ruin and nature reclaims the world. It's a slow story that takes place over the course of 30 to 40 years as the robot Alpha watches characters she knew as children grow into adults. The people around her die, new kids are born, but she remains unchanging, slowly learning about people and the world. A lot of people dislike Cafe Alpha since it takes show don't tell to an extreme. If you can't handle entire chapters with next to no speech bobbles, just laid back stories told through scenery and character expression, it will probably bore you to tears.

The Ancient Magus Bride
Another relaxing slice of life one. Girl ends up becoming a magus's apprentice, and goes to live with him in the English country side. Queue magical adventures with faeries, spirits and what not. Can be very melancholy at times, which I'm a fan of. Kind of like a more laid back solemn Harry Potter.

HoriMiya
A romance Manga where the main couple hooks up within the first few volumes without any unnecessary drama or BS. The relationship between the main characters feels very intimate, which is sadly rare for a romance series.

Kakegurui - 8/10

Read only the first three volumes but so far I love this, gambling addicts are scary people.

Shi ni Itaru Yamai - 9/10

A manga doesn't need to be long to be amazing. Such a deep and bittersweet story, the human mind really is a wonder.

Aku no Hana - 7/10

From the beginning to chapter 33, a masterpiece that gets a 10/10. Post-timeskip, just bland slice of life, 4/10.

Solanin 9/10

Surprisingly realistic and I can relate to the characters very well.

Read a different Inio Asano work recently(-ish).

A Girl by the Shore - 6/10

Not particularly satisfying. I don't even remember what happened in the end and it read it like a month ago. It's pretty much a depressing sex-filled romp about unlikable middle schoolers making poor life choices. The art was nice, naturally, but the plot just sort of meandered and the character motivations were sort of fuzzy. Not his best work at all. Go read Solanin like the previous poster or PunPun if you are in for a longer read.

Gravity cat the adequately amused
Been so long since I read a series all the way through I'm actually having to look up my list on MAL. Most of them are still being released or I've not yet finished them on account of not knowing when they're done.

Apparently it's Hitorimi Haduki-san to. I remember it being quite an adorable read.
