1. a darker back ground. i read somewhere that darker back grounds use less energy. personaly tho, the brightness hurts my eyes.
2. veiw poll results with out voting. for example: question for the girls here. to see the results i have to vote, but i'm not a girl, so my vote would skeew the poll.

You know, you could just adjust your monitor's settings for the brightness part.

Yeah, monitors tend to have several preset profiles that you can toggle between. So you can have a pretty dark one for browsing the internet and a brighter one for watching films.

Which would be useful, because it wouldn't crash as much.

Or like a skin option. Like a choice box where you can choose some different skins or themes that the admins make.

I have said it a few times before, but making new styles for FAKKU is entirely in the hands of the users. I plan to at one point add some Easter eggs where you can set the style to the Danny Choo theme we had on April fools and some random other ones, but nothing more than that.
All of the CSS styling on FAKKU is external, this means you can use a FireFox addon like Stylish to create your own styles and share them with the community.
For example someone made a random style that tweaks the view online page:
http://userstyles.org/styles/browse?search_terms=fakku&sort=popularity&sort_direction=desc

I'm actually quite fine with the white background.
Although the view poll results without voting is something I wanted for a bit.

I think most people just have a natural stupidity filter which allows them to ignore such statements completely.

Beside with the proliferation of TFT monitors it's starting to become a non issue.
