Can't really say that I know. I go to college three or so hours away from home and don't really call my parents much. Last I checked my dad had bought a new truck with more horsepower then his old one. Apparently he thinks he's hitting the gas lightly and he just takes off. I'm kind of excited for the next time I go home to try and drive it.

I've never been a truck person.

I am delighted that I have a newer car. a 2010 Impala. A definite upgrade from my 92 cutlass.

I've always been a fan of trucks. With the bed you have so much room to do pretty much whatever you want. I mean, I can move so much stuff with a truck- much more than what I can cram into the back of my SUV right now. On top of that, new trucks are getting more and more spacious on the inside compared to how they used to be. Sure, the mileage isn't really good, but new trucks are getting a time and a half of what my Suburban is currently getting. Additionally you have all the power that a truck has, so towing is easy.

He said you were acting stupid, not that you yourself are stupid. He might have insinuated it at some point in the thread but as of right now I'm thinking about banning both of you for being stupid.

I rarely have a situation that I feel I need a truck for though. So it'd just be a waste for me.

Though I do find them to be more useful than something like an SUV. I think the waste of gas compared to other vehicles that meet the same type of actions they are used for is just ridiculous for being big.

I guess I felt that because he went on this whole insult + mock thread tirade that it was a legitimate reason to report for harassment.

In an honest answer, the reputation system does not need to be improved. Why? Because I believe it works properly.

On a tangent, I believe the problem comes down to the users. People take the reputation system too seriously. It's the Internet; people will write whatever they want to, and click on whatever they want to. While it does make certain people stand out, the reputation system shouldn't really be used to judge people because of the anonymity the Internet allows people.

That's my two cents.
