A Suggestion

A tracker that calculates the percentage of your posts in every sub-forum, along with the post count in said sub-forum.

Either way, I think going as far as subforums might be taking it a little too much. Not so much calculations, if Jacob can rig it to tell you posts made in IB and all that, it's not a far stretch to doing it for multiple forums.

I dunno, the only way I could see this working is kind of a paged linked in your profile that shows you your personal statistics.

Of course, this is is definitely something that can wait until after a lot more of the bugs are fixed.

I think this would be cool too.

You really need to reevaluate these things.

I would suggest, in light of the Skype and irc circles, that her post was written in jest. The 'I dunno Space' sets an evidently less than serious tone, but the post isn't cutting enough to be sarcastic. Thus it provides playful derision without lambasting the idea. Can we get on with the damn thread now?

I think it's a cool idea, but it would need a new profile page or something, a serious undertaking rather than cosmetic improvement. I'd say leave it until major items are fixed, and then collate all of these nice ideas that have cropped up in another front page suggestion thread.

To the other part of your post.

It wouldn't require much more. The type of coding is possible as Jacob has demonstrated with separating regular posts and IB posts. Though it could always cause unseen problems as some things do.

The important part is doing it in a way that doesn't clutter things. And how far of a distinction is important too.

Getting back on topic, I don't see anything wrong with the suggestion. However, whether or not it gets implemented depends on whether the IT staff on Fakku have enough time on their hands, as well as their priority on the various tasks.

I too, think that this is a good idea. But, much like Gambler, don't know if Jacob and Fakku staff would have enough time to do it. Due to there being so many other things to fix and whatnot. Still, I wouldn't mind seeing this implemented in the future.

I was actually going to add this last week, as well as some graphs that shows the percentage of posts across all the forums and random things like that. But I'm putting it off until I overhaul user profiles completely, and I have no idea when that will be. The current user profile page is just a temporary stand-in.
