All of the stuff that has been taken down from ExHentai will be available here, right? Are we going to have to pay money to read it online? Basically, I don't have a problem with what you're doing unless you're hoarding formerly-free stuff and charging a ransom to fap to it.

Good question, but so far Fakku has no official action in this, I guess the only answer to find the fap material that disappeared is: LURK MOAR.
I do have to say the extent of the DMCA action was quite big. I guess even Jacob consider that extensive, it's always better to have some hentai you won't be selling before long still be on the net until you announce the release of the tankoubon version in USA.
It's like scanlation and fansub in my country, providing stuff before release is announced then taking it down when announce is given.

This situation is the same as why you can't watch big name movies on YouTube. Someone with many lawyers owns the rights, so anyone who displays it has to pay them a fee... or get their pants sued off.

For example right now Renai Sample is Sold Out - since it's no longer available online due to DMCA notices does this just mean if you didn't buy it before it was sold out you're just forever screwed out of being able to see it?

I also wanted that book, so I already searched for many hours on the internet, I couldn't find anywhere. All the sites who mentionned the uncensored english version of renai sample by fakku, said that is was unavailable, or not yet published.

Amazon says the same, btw.
Yes, this is not yet published. there is no preorders yet and jacob said it'd be opened in around two weeks.

They wouldn't be able to translate hundreds of old works no matter what they intended, not to mention they'd avoid doing stuff that could cause them legal trouble in the west or bad publicity from media. So most of the stuff is going away for good with no chance to access, money or not.
So let's see what we have here:
- Access to most stuff being cut
- Paying substantial amounts for stuff that used to be free
With the convenient timing of Japanese censorship going insane, the only pro is avoiding censors but the cons heavily outweigh that. After all, the outcome of seeing something censored vs not seeing it at all is a no-brainer.
