I need some confirmations for some questions concerning accounts.

The only way to delete an account is to ask an admin to delete right?
Once a user's account is deleted all his posts and topics disappear too right?

Posts and topics don't disappear. alexanderthe9 posts are still on this site even thought his account is closed.

Unless the admin specifies to have the posts deleted with the account.

And that would take a lot of time, especially when your deleting the Elder's post.

from what tranq says it seems like it would simply be an option said admin would have to check off for it to happen, I don't think it would take time as you said.

I don't thinnk deleting previous posts will help things either. By deleting post content, you're essentially creating more confusion for readers who are reading threads with your posts in it, windknight111.

I can assume that you might want to delete your own account to wipe out your post content and history? Why bother?

He must be from the Philippines and they want to arrest him for looking at lolis, so they need proof so they can execute him.

Also, alexanderthenine was turned into a "Guest".

If I were to have my account deleted, I'd want my post and all gone too.
Sounds selfish, but why cares if others are confused? Sometimes it's best not to know things anyway.

Why do things that would make you shameful or embarassed in the first place?

I don't think it's a matter of shame or embarrassing oneself.
For me, it's more about leaving for good and taking your things with you.

This is a really weird way to put it, but look at it this way. You're president of the white house, or were. Your term is over, it's time to hit the road. Wouldn't you want to not just take your body out of the white house, but all of your belongings? Sorta like moving away from home too. You don't leave your crap behind, you usually take it with you... if possible. For me that's how it should be with a forum. I mean, if you want your legacy to live on.. sure why not keep your post lying around (even though you'll never reply to anyone who reads/responds to them)? But otherwise, why not have everything vanish/leave/go?

There are times when a particular member may wish to leave Fakku permanently, but s/he can never tell where the future leads. The possibility of coming back to Fakku, or at least encountering the community, always exists.

Although I am saddened whenever members choose to leave Fakku, I respect their decision.
