A Moderator or an Admin might be able to help me out on this one, it's kind of half suggestion/request if you will.
On one of the forums i'm part of one of the practices we had was a critique/reference thread where someone kept a masterlist of Artists sketchbooks (art threads)who signed onto the list. People were able to specifically request critiques and instead of having to wait for people to sift through their rather large member base they could refer to a master thread. Certain people have problems giving someone a really hard critique thinking they'll offend the person so this system helped fix that a bit.
Also it helped newer Artists get more traffic into their threads if they requested critiques in said master thread. Among other things they would list relavant information in the thread, IE links to good places to find references images or tutorials. etc. etc.
I wanted to put said thread in the actual Art forum and potentially get it stickied, so i have two questions about that.
- Is it possible to get said thread stickied.
- Is it appropriate for the art forum, or should said thread be put in IB because technically it could be considered a club by some???
Additional reasons i think it would be helpful.
- Guidelines could be included that encourage people to use a single sketchbook thread for all their works as opposed to making many posts, proper formatting could be included on how they should present their sketchbook.
- People could be encourage to give constructive criticism, often times people just need to be told it's alright. One of the things the old thread had was a guideline to
proper constructive criticism. Alternatively a few artists don't want to hear any criticism so potentially the thread could be made to dissuade people from critiquing artists who don't want it.
- Sketchbooks/Art threads could be prioritized, i've been sifting through the Art Forums and it's really hard to pick out peoples art threads sometimes because there's a ton of stuff there.

I think it's really unnecessary. For the simple fact that almost all users with art threads of their own rarely update them, leaving them to be forgotten most of the time. Therefore the reviews would have no purpose.
The ones that do update them (e.g. Kaho), because of the small amount of artists we have, are always on the first page. And the ones that don't update their threads as often, such as Mycstea, don't have their threads buried too deep for the same reason.
