Cannot "View Online" from ANY computer

Thumbnails load, but the actual pages do not load when I try to view manga online... All I get is a nice blue hyperlink (that takes me to the next page when clicked) sandwiched between the site template and adverts.

If I right click on the hyperlink and select "View Image", I get a "Failed to connect" error page. If I select "Show Image", either nothing happens, or I get a page displaying just the image's URL.

I'm using Firefox of course, and this has been happening for what seems to be about a week. Any attempt to connect to 66.90.101.104 (be it kotomi.fakku.net for manga images on this site, my-pants.com or instaslush.com) results in a "Failed to connect" error. Strangely enough, I get very consistent (successful) results when pinging 66.90.101.104.

Really? I couldn't tell... I read that before, but I thought that was just a 12 reply bitchfest about language and hiding pr0nz0rz on flash drives. Silly me.

Though after rereading and thoroughly studying that thread about 5 more times, I see that it may in fact have something to do with my problem. I guess what threw me is where you said "I know what your problem is, it's viewing the recent manga online", as I am even unable to view manga that loaded fine several weeks ago... I didn't consider that someone could have so catastrophically stroked some code the wrong way and fucked up *ALL* the updates past, present and future.

Hey, looks like I answered my own question! Good for me.

I guess I also figured that if something that serious happened (this apparently effects practically every user of the site), there would be some sort of notice or something... Thus I figured the problem was mine alone.

If you're sick of people like me asking about this, maybe you should sticky something on the forums (or even the main page!) explaining the problem. I by no means consider myself to be an interwebs expert, but I'd bet that would fix us up real good.

Seriously, I take pride in my 'bad' reputation (a reputation that extends a lot further than the interwebs), so go ahead and 'tarnish' my rep. I'll cry bucketloads, I assure you.

I can't believe my last post actually offended anyone though... But I guess it makes sense that an aminu porno board would be chock full of (male) prepubescent pussies that can't handle the 'harsheties' of reality. I guess the theory that watching too much anime causes young boys to stop producing testosterone and turn into emotion-filled twatholes is true, eh?

Relax, kiddies... If you lay off the anime for a while, you might still be able to finish puberty and shed all that surplus estrogen that's making you crazy.
