Can't change avatars (GIF)

I was gonna use a new GIF avatar but it won't take. I've resized it into 150x170 but it still won't take.

Perhaps you can try to be more detail with your error ?

Example : It's showing an error page which said "<*insert generic error report here>" after I try to upload it.

I dont get any errors, but i have the problem that i can neither delete my avi, or upload a new one to crop. If i select upload, then i am just redirected to the profile after a minute , still with my previous avi.
Anyone knows what to do about that?

A good alternative in the meantime

If the file size is too big, it doesn't give an error. It just brings you back to your profile page. This could be the problem you are experiencing.
