Changes in Special Interest

I haven't been on for a week or so, so I don't know what's been going on, but I noticed that there were some changes in the Special Interest forums. First, I noticed that the Paranormal forum was gone, then (many hours later) I noticed that Mecha and Figures/Toys were combined. I was wondering if something was said about this and what other changes have been made. I'm not bitching, I think both those changes are great, but I'm curious. And worried that something else has changed that I haven't noticed yet, since it took me a hell of a long time to noticed the Mecha-Figures/Toys merge.

Has Jacob decided to clean up all areas of the site, or were people complaining or something?

the Paranormal and travel thread got merged with Random, because it wasn't active enough.

don't know why the Mecha got merged with figures and toys, but possible for low activeness. :D

There was a little announcement for the merging/deletion of those forums some days ago. (In red letters on the forum top)

The reasons were mainly inactivity, as you already figured out.

Thanks for the responses. I just wanted to be sure about everything.

I'm glad I posted this, because I actually didn't notice that Travel was gone. No big deal, but I can imagine myself being confused in the future, wanting to check it out and seeing it gone.
