DEAD SECTION

like if have said it before the certain "event" occurred.

what about a dead section so we can store all threads with dead links in it there.

my suggestions was that we give an uploader time to reup things within 6 month or less after that the thread gets moved to the dead section.

this way there would be no necrobumps and people could see which hentais/games/wahtever h-related uploadstuff needs to be reuploaded.

so I just want to bump this an get an answer if it is possible to create such a section ?

The only problem I see is, who would do all the work?

It's probably not hard to move a thread into a different section, but there are over 360 threads just in the Video section of User Uploads. We can't expect the mods to go through all of the threads and move the dead ones, can we?

If people reported the dead threads, that would lighten the workload, but it'd still take a while to make a difference.

The upload-section mod, if we get one, would have to fix that imo.

Yes, it really needs hard work, because I'm now checking the game uploads and after 3 hours I've just reached H. It's really long because you have to check the files individually.

since you are the guy who upload the most h-games, why don´t you become the mod ?

and the problem of moving so many thread is just because until now no one ever cared about it.
so I guess the mod will just have to sit down for a day and clean each section and after that the number of dead threads in a section would dramaticly decrease.

and so after that work the mod would only have to delete threads that will become invalid

KLoWn becomin a mod sounds nice
then he knows what to reupload without gettin annoying posts and besides he seems like he's the most reliable for this section^^

And I'd would totally let KLoWn become the Mod there, since as nekoxxx said before. Since he uploads most of the stuff in the Upload section, it would be best if he helps fix it up now and then. Not saying you aren't already doing an excellent job already KLoWn with your Uploads and all~

Appreciate the thought fellas, but i just resigned from my position as mod on another forum just because i was tired of cleaning up this kind of stuff. I recently did something pretty similar but with their mangalist, and that took me like 4½ straight hours, and i really can't be arsed to do something like it again

Im more than willing to help out with it though.

Also, i, as i always do, nominate Kaimax as Upload-mod, he already runs the Master List and and all that anyway.

i think kaiax is capable of being a mod too
but we have to entrust the admins with htis matter so lets hope the best
