I recently passed the 500 post mark, but now I see that my post count has suddenly dropped ~10 posts. Any idea why?

it's probably that one of the threads that you posted in got deleted. There's no actual "Post reduction" in fakku.

I cannot find any threads in IB or Random which I remember being outside those sections to begin with, but I guess it makes more sense than my post count just magically decreasing.
Are there any way to know if a tread you have participated in has been moved, or some of your posts are deleted? Because I think ~10 post are allot considering that the only place I post that much in a single tread is in "Computers and...".

I present an alternate theory. Jacob has gone crazy and is altering your post count because he think if he takes away an equal number of posts from a number of people relative to the waffles he has eaten times the amount of spam emails he got in the last year he will be endowed with a grilled cheese sandwich with a burn in the shape of Christopher Walken's face.

In all seriousness, Kaimax/Roven hit the nail on the head. Odds are a thread got deleted/moved to IB that you were posting in. Sadly, theres no way to know what it was untill you either notice a thread is missing that you posted in, or find the thread you were posting in on IB.
