Did a bunch of posts just disappear?

So yeah.... Did a bunch of posts just disappear or is it something wrong on my end making me unable to see them?

Basically I click on any topic and I will see a lot of posts without any texts. When I try to quote them (to see if I can see their texts) I get a page saying that the post doesn't exist.

main page shows post dating from mid Januari. So I think a whole bunch of data suddenly went lost. including forum posts

Yeah, looks like it's a server issue. Apparently it's being worked on, according to the chatter on IRC. I think.

I'm guessing a roll back was all that was needed ?
It seemed to resort back to a backup or something attached to a MySQL database as some parts of the site like the pole were not effected however the front page posts and images were.

Also old posts didn't show however new posts did, indicating that it might of then started adding posts to the database again and only showing valid posts that could be recognised.

Or my last educated guess would be that it could be to do with certain groups not being able to read certain posts/threads or something :D

Half asleep so sorry if it's not an easy to read potential explanation, would love to know if I was close to getting it right though :D ?

ALL MY DOUJIN LINKS ARE GONE OFF MY POSTS... WHY.. meh i'll recheck later.

Upload section seems to be fine but Nosebleed is missing a lot of posts.

This should only be a temporary problem.

Oh jesus thank god. I recently received a -1 rep from some noob and I thought it disabled my account. I was starting to panic and think I was banned over such a small thing.

Yeah, I'm having the same issue, and it also goes for my post count, (when I view my recent posts, I mean).

On noes hope my threads are restored

I'm new, so I panicked and thought I'd done something wrong and got a bunch of stuff deleted or something. But I'm selfishly relieved it's a server thing. Hope they get it sorted!

Unfortunately it looks like a lot of that post data has been lost :(

and i had just uploaded in this month at least 12 diff anime series most were dual audio good quality :*(

I hate this

I found a few survivors, but i don't see a common connection. they are from different members and in different threads. it seems the majority contain quotes, but some do not. i know nothing of programing or code, or whatever, but i thought i'd mention it in case it helps. maybe the posts aren't 'gone', maybe they're just hiding.

Lol I hardly exist on fakku since joining on Monday. About 85% of my posts and 1 thread have gone missing, not to worry at least fakku has a great and understanding community. Nothing like this can change that :)
